was the teacher eating at McDonalds named Chad Ochocinco Johnson?…Ocho vs Science
Such common sense advice. Years ago we had a family holiday in Italy. We ate pasta, pizza and white bread for 10 days, and lost weight. Turns out the 2-3 miles we walked to and from the beach was the key. Sadly I forgot this and only now the penny drops…
Move more
Resistance training
Eat enough protein
It's really not hard
Excellent, EXCELLENT advice!! I lift 5 days a week and walk at least 15000 steps a day. My main focus is 230 grams of protein and 120 grams of carbs…whatever calories comes from fat is what my appetite will allow. I'm 59, 5'9" at 180 pounds. Just last week, I had 3 maple bars after breakfast to celebrate a milestone for one of my co-workers. I walked an extra 4000 steps for the day and had a steak and half a baked potato for dinner. Actually dropped a pound for the week. Anyways, appreciate your channel, you're spot on, and the main focus is what we can sustain on a consistent basis and keep protein on point. I prefer walking more, than caloric restrictions, to create the caloric deficit and weight management required for me. Love watching your videos and thanks always for your insight!
I can't do what you're saying. You might not be a sugar addict or insulin sensitive…. Some people are. I am an addict. I can't have sugar or flour near me if i will binge on it. You can't ask alcoholics to moderately drink
While on vacation in Spain by the beach we walked 7-9 miles a day by the beach walk and towncenter and ended up losing weight upon my return to the states.
Thank you Paul 😊
I went from 40% body fat to 14% body fat in a little over a year. Feel great. Look great. Couldn’t be happier. Started at 290 down to 165.
100% agreed, this needs be common knowledge! Exactly my approach to dieting.
I've been lifting for 6 years and have been able to now bulk up to 200lbs as a 23 year old 5'10 man. I have put on a lot of muscle and am super excited to be 180 lbs again with more of a leaner look. I am taking my time with the dieting because want to minimize muscle loss as much as possible, hopefully I am doing the right approach. I watch a lot of fitness youtubers and specifically you give the best advice, thank you!
How long does it take to see actual muscle growth ?
Wrong.
Excellent vid sir. I'm 53 and fit(muscular) most all of my life. I eat cheesecake and drink beer. But it's all in moderation. If I pig out a couple days, I understand that I should move a little more to counter that.
I don't prevent myself from eating anything. I work out 6 days a week, and there are days I'll walk 30k steps.
Enjoy food, enjoy working out, and enjoy life.
If you are in a calorie deficit it does'nt matter if it's clean or junk you will lose weight. Not saying junk is healthy but it is true
Love thissss!
I eat lots of sweets but remembering my caloric intake in limit and have more muscle than those black & white typical nutrition-caring-diet-oriented idiots. there is nothing called junk except it is categorized as Food (have some sort of protein/carb/fat). The main key is to limit yourself.
Me too! I’ll have a pop tart (strawberry is the best) a couple times a week and it fits my macros or I’ll have a donut on the weekend during my surplus days.
Keep up the education and fantastic videos
went down from 23% fat to 13% using your advice
Im not impressed 👎👎
Paid 😉😉
I join the pro physique family a few months ago, great place.
When is the next 90 day challenge, Im 40 and desperate. I’m tired of looking like this and my bloods are screwed
I love the new TATE cut 😂
The worst lie is talk about calories
Excellent, totally agree. Love your stuff!
You said it best brother 🎉
Mambas get fit into my macros EVERY day 😍
Hi Paul, can we still enter to win even though it’s pass Jan. 9?
Hi dear I registered with u on challenge am from bahrain hope that u can help me I am on 1600 thousand 35%c 35%p 30 f
Am not loosing at all walking around 10000 steps every day I am 37 year weight 68.5 hight 155
I recently had family in town for the holidays, and we spent 5 days hitting disney parks. I ate park food and just enjoyed it all. Burgers, fries, even one ( ok, three) voodoo donuts. This video now makes sense to me because I actually lost 2 lbs that week. Thinking it thru, I walked sooooo much every day while at the parks. The kind of walking where your legs ache walking back to the car right? I think I'm definately adding weekly walks into my routine this year!!
Don’t eat McDonald’s people….very high in salt, just eat healthy weekly and have a clean cheat meal once a week to keep your sanity
Perfect words I myself ruined my metabolism by eating too healthy for last 4yrs …now I go with flexible approach and I socially enjoy but in moderation and now I am enjoying life alot also I am getting better results
Great info Paul trying to be to healthy is an easy trap to fall into been there 👍
Great info!
What's good in refined sugar?
You're way wrong about sugar. Processed sugar is the enemy of your body. Fruit and raw honey is ok occasionally, but you should specify the kind of sugar.
I busted a hard plateau in June on vacation. Got in 12- 16k steps a day and plenty of sun. i don’t feel we ate too much more though. Food is so expensive eating out and the portions weren’t that big. But there was bourbon… and empanadas. Oh, the empanadas. Came home 4 lbs down and lost more over the summer. And I had been working like crazy to drop more weight in the weeks b4 my vacation and nothing was working. I’m a walker and avg 8-10k daily for years. That few thousand extra per day even without strength training for less than a week made a huge difference.
Awesome video! I’ve been preaching this point for years to my friends and loved ones 💪🏼
Now im confused, doesn't sugar kill muscle?
Just want to know. Your physique is good at this age. . I know that exercise and diet is important. But is TRT also required.
Keeping it real but highly successful at achieving your goals.
That’s cool and all and may be right to lose weight but doesn’t take into consideration clogging your arteries, cancer and all of the other dangers that processed food poses. I know many fit people who had major health issues in theirs 40s and 50s from eating poor quality foods
Very true. Everytime I vacation to europe, came back lost at least 10 pounds in two weeks. Eat unlimited pasta, pizza in Florence, vermouth as water replacement in Barcelona, and all the good pastries with wine in Paris, still lose weight significantly by walking all day and running to catch the bus and train (10 hours every day). The only time we can sit comfortably for a break is in restaurant for a meal. There are no benches on streets and shopping malls(wonder it is in purpose?). No wonder europeans barely diet but most are lean and thin, even they eat tons of what we called junk food and sugary, and drink alcohol from dawn to midnight.🤣
While I understand the logic of what you are saying and agree… appetite is a huge factor and some foods can keep you feeling hungry and makes it easier to get in a caloric surplus
