    Why do you always use red lentils versus other kind? Just curious. Ive never tried red I have the brown ones or greenish looking ones idk. Just wondering if it's a flavor thing or why.

    This may sound dumb, but…is it possible to be vegan and not eat avocado? I'm allergic, but I feel like EVERY vegan that does YouTube rants and raves about how good it is, and how healthy it is, and I kinda feel left out 🙁

    I've lived in Concord California if it's got animal fats in it than it is not if its fats in the vegetables it's definitely not vegan and definitely been modified I did enjoy watching the video and the recipes I'll take my time and modify them myself without fats and add in the proteins when necessary

    Thanks for the video's Nikki. I enjoy them so much as I find you are relatible, that is you at least drink, have dessert and eat out etc. I find that sometimes vegans can be too "goody-two-shoes"'. I enjoy food but also love a good glass of wine 😉

    That salad needs olive oil, lots of it, and vinegar. Greek yogurt is another great option for a dressing.
    And some tuna and hard boiled egg for the protein.
