With the amount of chili made here, I bet some of it could be used for vegan chili dogs or something
This is awesome I’ve been trying to reduce my meat consumption and this video definitely inspired me thanks mate. Also meat has been crazy expensive where I live so plant based options has been just the most affordable option for cooking and introducing me to some new recipes and ingredients.
That looks yummy 😋
There's cheaper vegan food and expensive vegan food just like there's cheap non-vegan food and expensive non-vegan food. The staple food in my country is Rice, Wheat, other grains, Beans, Legumes, Vegetables, local and seasonal fruits, nuts and seeds, etc. and all of them are cheap and accessible almost everywhere here.
Vegan food being cheap or expensive for you comes down to your preference and frequency of purchase if one likes to have plant based meat, dairy and eggs or processed versions of those which is totally fine but that doesn't make vegan food expensive in general.
It also depends on what you prioritise. I am comfortable with spending a lot on art events, concerts, plays, movies, adventurous trips and experiences but I don't spend much on clothing, buying vehicles, luxurious stays, etc.
It is if you buy the Frozen pre-made stuff a lot of the stuff is like vegan burgers 4 burgers for like $9 for like a vegan pot pie $25 this is how much it is in Canada if you're in the US he'll be a little less because you're currency
There are no bioavailable nutrients in vegan foods. You just poop it all out.
If you have the means to bulk cook meals, it's definitely not expensive…😊
Cooking at home can be cheap but many vegan restaurants are getting outrageous for what they charge these days for a lentil bean burger
Making my own tofu ground protein from bulk soy beans and using it as a way to cut down ground beef has been a great money saver
I loooove me some thick vegan chili. One of my favorite comfort foods
People that think vegan food is expensive only think about like impossible meats, other plant based meats, vegan egg, vegan alternatives. But most vegan food isn't a meat alternative
Remind me of the vegan milk protest… On Starbucks…
Heyyyyy!!! I just ordered your book!!! Can’t wait to make EVERYTHING IN THERE!! 😂😂😂
Unless you live in canada
Here you are, helping the people who are probably gonna make the switch to vegan.(i couldnt be vegan, i love chicken too much)i think your channel isbgreat

That's diarrhea inducing
Him: makes vegan chilli
Also him: puts cheese on it
No
The hard part is always going to be getting the transition. Trying to get my partner to eat less meat (he agreed to it) is always a tantrum. He likes the food and never goes hungry. 😅😊
Vegan its not eat garlic and onion
Why does this guy look so much like vsauce
It may not be but it is forsure bad for earth
PLEASE MAKE SOMETHING NON VEGAN
But will I eat it
The answer is no
It's only expensive if you keep trying to buy meat substitutes instead of just learning to cook with soy and pulses etc
Did bro just put cheese in a vegan dish!?
Ngl, that looks bussin.
Tell that my peppers which are worth about 6$
Cedar is very vegan
Vegan food is cheap in India, lots of vegan options here.
I’m eating a vegetarian diet for the month of March. I give myself these random challenges; just to try it out and see if I can do it. I’m making it so far, but starving and probably overeating some. But I have found that I spend the same amount at the grocery store no matter what. My biggest expenditure now are juices: fruit juice and vegetable juice. I like to get some of my daily servings in liquid form. So I need to learn how to make my own juices.
Do you have videos about making juice drinks? Or can you make them? It would be much appreciated.
My wife is from Mexico and when I visited for the first time after changing to a vegetarian diet, she said that the poorer people are vegetarian or outright vegan because they can't afford meat. And in restaurants there, the cheese filled options vs meat filled products are the cheapest options. Vegan products are sold a premium there, but if you buy the ingredients then it is cheaper. And there are a lot of meat products with TVP filler as cheaper options, because meat is more expensive.
The real cost of a vegan diet is the environment and health.
