    Another tip with quinoa, dry roast /toast in a dry pan then add liquid. It gives a nutty flavor.

    What do you think of red lentil porridge in place of oatmeal or grits? I love lentils soup but looking for breakfast alternatives. The recipe I found said cook red lentil to decide creaminess and add favorite milk, spices, sweetener, nuts, seed, fruit.

    I never thought to smoke tofu! How long did you smoke it for and is there a specific temp? I'd love to try that ! We got my boyfriend's dad a smoker for Christmas last year and he loves it, I'm excited for a meat free option to try! I just happened apon your channel and I love your vibe and your recipies!     New sub! I try to eat as plant based as possible but lately I haven’t been feeling as inspired, so I’m glad I’ve found your channel.

    Also, I LOVE chia seed pudding! I always make chocolate, matcha or mango sticky rice flavor but that strawberry milk tip is GENIUS!

    I’ve never had chia pudding! Just the other day I was thinking of trying to make my own chocolate milk for my toddler! I have to get the cashew milk down first bc babeeey my first go round did not come out good at all!

    You can swap out the fresh rosemary with fresh dillweed it's a good match as well…so you will have a change of flavor in your pickle onions..

    I have qionia in the pantry (I don't like it so never grab it)..BUT..I have never toasted it first, I have never used veg broth to cook it in, and have never cooked it for 30 minutes..SO, I need to give it another try for sure LOL ((nice dj vibes in the intro LOL))

    if you make a smoothie or pudding in a blender, instead of using sugar or a syrup, you can put in frozen dates. neutral sweetness plus extra fiber and nutrients

    Strawberry milk is awesome and using it for chia pudding would be fantastic, what a good idea! I like to add a splash of vanilla extract, but I add that to pretty much anything 🙂

    Hey! You are giving me some great ideas for my weekly meal prep. I'm definitely making the strawberry milk, smoked tofu, and pickled onions this week. I think I'm going to make the chia seed pudding but add some vegan buttercream cupcake protein powder. 😋 Thanks for the great ideas.

    Dal is actually just lentils or other pulses. Even plain dry lentils are called dal.

    Hey gurl hey, just the good critique is not coming from a malice place but your inserts at the bottom of the page they're white, and then most of your dishes are glass white and your countertops is white the only way I could tell the bottom of your insert when you were saying thinking out loud LOL is because of your green shirt so maybe your insert colors need to be red, black, or even red just my two to five cent with much love and care for you and your subscribers🤗🤗💞💞

    Recently over the weekend I tried Just Egg ( the plant based eggs) and they actually were very good …I like them better scrambled than I do regular eggs ..

    I also did pickled onions and pickled jalapeños…it’s a slow migration
