Hey Shakalya I love how excited you get when u are preparing and when u taste meals your happy dance is too cute.

Everything looks lovely…
Never had mushrooms before….
Hey! Next time you try vegan โsmoked salmonโ a.k.a carrot locs try a recipe where you donโt cook the carrots ๐๐พ
Got to the granola part lol yeah that cereal needs to be soaked in plant milk with some added stuff to it haha
I want to recommend Loves granola itโs so good!!! The chocolate one I was eating a lot in my smoothie bowls aka aรงaรญ bowls. So bomb! Dried strawberry and Chocolate chunks in it.
Pineapple makes a huge difference, honestly any citrus type.
I do:
Pineapple
Oranges
Green apple
Celery
Cucumber
Spinach or Lacinato kale aka dyno kale
You of course can add ginger, turmeric and carrots. That will make it taste like a completely different juice.
Look up a beet juice too. Itโs pretty and is a whole new taste.
Fully raw Kristina makes a lot of juices.
Got a word for your plant based pasta taste: Gummy. And yes o notice they are very tricky too the more gluten free you go the trickier lol
I recently started juicing and found out you can juice sweet potatoes, apples and a lemon or lime- tastes like a dessert .. so good!!
I absolutely love watching your videos; yes, Iโm a new subbie and Iโm on this new journey of plant base food. I havenโt let the crab legs go just yet ๐.
Your meals are so inspiring. I will say this is my 3 week on this journey and Iโm very proud of myself so far; the journey has been real. I canโt find half the ingredients that I need at the local grocery store.
Therefore, I have to venture out to Whole Foods and some farmers markets. It can be a bit discouraging in the beginning but Iโm going to ride it out.
Please keep the meals coming through. Btw, where can your cook book be purchased?
Waaaaiiittt???? Youโre from Tulsa?! ๐ฎ

How did he get the name Sir?
Hello, I hope you put the recipes up soon. Love โค๏ธ
I love the different variations to your food. I will add the carrot to my green juice and also try the lime. Your food looks amazing.
Love your meal prep! Oh howI wish I liked mushrooms (or eggplant for that matter), lol. Those bagels looked SO good! I like the idea of making the cream cheese because itโs made with simple ingredients with no chemicals or things you canโt pronounce – even it doesnโt taste exactly like cream cheese.
Not sure if you like or ever tried to make your own hummus but I do every week either from canned chickpeas or from scratch with bulk chickpeas in the Insta-Pot. It can be a little time consuming from the bean (or pea!) but itโs worth it either way!
Yup definitely inspired me for my meal plan this week. Do you ever reuse the marinade for the pickled onions? I meal prepped before & it was so helpful during the week.
When it comes to dinning and finding a restaurant I research all social media platforms for photos and reviews. I especially love photos posted by customers.
Kiwi and carrot juice

I have to be careful of my sodium intake so I'm excited that some of your recipes might be low sodium! Good for you being for mindful also. Please make a video when you make your stock!! ๐๐
16:55 pickled onions recipe
I saw your tofu suggestion (freeze it) in a previous video and have been eating it that way ever since. I recently went whole food plant based for health reasons. Love your Videos!
Using a potato peeler wouldโve given you the desired shreds for the faux lox (salmon)
I need to start meal preppingโฆ
For the pickled onions in the end what kind of liquid did u add to it ?
I felt like car shopping was a nightmare for me. Guess because it took a while for me to find one. I had just gotten another car after keeping my old car for over 20 years. Not even 3 months, and someone hit me and totaled the car. On the hunt again and it took me 6 months to find one. I was looking for a used car and looking to where I didn't have to finance because I'm hoping to get a house soon and didn't want a car payment as well as the car being on my credit before getting the house. Working from home saved me from going that long without a car.
Your daily protein requirements are dependent on your goals and current health status. According to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, who have already done the calculation, the daily protein requirement for women ages 19-60+ is about 5 to 6oz where 1 oz equals 28g. The Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) is based on body weight where the daily recommended protein requirement 0.8 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight (for a 150 lb woman that is about 55 grams of protein per day). The International Society of Sports Nutrition's recommendation for athletes is about 2g of protein per kilogram of body weight to support muscle gain and maintenance (for a 150 lb woman that is around 135 g protein per day). The most common problem associated with consuming to much protein is weight gain, especially in the absence of exercise. Consuming too much protein for an extended period of time can increase the risk of diabetes, kidney insufficiency, osteoporosis, heart disease or cancer; especially for those already at risk. Check out the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics for more information or consult a dietician or nutritionist depending on your medical history.
Lime and mint are the perfect pairing. For green juices I also like to add dandelion greens, parsley and I switch up the fruit and add pears sometimes. My favorite juice is probably beet juice using red or golden. Sometimes I add greens and usually an apple. Carrots and beets are great and so is carrot juice itself, with tumeric.
A juice hack for those using a blender is to freeze greens, garlic, tumeric, celery and carrots, blends much easier and produces a smoother juice.
Do you have recipes for the pulp leftovers from juicing?
Love Love Love your content. Canโt wait for the different vlogs๐
Iโm not vegan what so ever but your meals inspire me to cook atleast try a few vegan options throughout the week! โบ๏ธ
Loving the meal prep
You can buy vegetable broth paste…
Better than bouillon vegetable broth paste it's say vegan on it, they have a vegan chicken and beef broths too
Love your meal prep videos, I'm not that organized but it does make sense. Helps to be more intentional about your food choices. I see the pickled onions made a comeback sis, lol. Looking forward to see what's on the menu next week. Enjoy sis ๐
