I don't understand how so many people can't meet their protein intake. I easily get over 200 g everyday and that's without even trying

What about foods like seitan which have 75 grams of protein in 100g vs 25 grams in the same amount of beef?

    All girls today!

The veganism vs carnivorism debate is so goofy. There's so much to consider and so much individual variance, but people get so myopic in the ideologies.

I often massage my wife and I'll regularly utilize my knuckles and elbows. I just wish she'd do the same for me. I'm soooooo freaking tight!

What I find with alot of the more gung ho vegans is
    1. The reason they feel so much better is they have cut out alot of processed junk foods and sugar.
    2. They have not been on it long enough or consistent enough for their health to be hit.
    3. Many of them are taking PEDs to compensate

Randomized controlled trials of people eating the same amount of plant protein and animal protein in grams showed no statistically significant difference in muscle gain.

Like any diet, it depends what you eat. The vegan diet can be great for muscle building. You know that the most strongest mammals on this planet are herbivores right? Rhinos, Gorillas, Elephants, Giraffes, Bulls. Humans and gorillas are quite close to each other. And our digestive track, as well as our molars suggest a diet dominated by plant foods. We are not like chimps which have fangs.

We became hunters in Africa out of necessity. But we still have the biology of a rainforests herbivore. The best part about the vegan diet is, if you want to use steroids, eating meat can cause you to have a serious hart attack! And this is so real! Vegan diets don’t have cholesterols, unless you eat coconut oil and other garbage.

If you want the truth listen to doctors and real bodybuilders. Look how many are wining goals! And we are only 5% of the population!

He tells me he follows workout regiment from TikTok and Diet Hacks from TikTok 🥴..its becoming an issue now.

You guys always talk shit about people clickbate for views but saying “the vegan diet is TERRIBLE for building muscle” is such an exaggeration and fat from the truth. Disappointed in y’all. Been an avid listener for a year and a half now and learned a lot but the tone, rhetoric, language and views you guys share whenever it comes to the vegan diet is annoying.

For fuck sakes 2/3 of you guys can’t even do dairy for health reasons yet you push it. News flash there’s a shit Ton of people who can’t fuck with dairy.

What world are you living in? No meat head it’s just a single source of protein. But let me guess “from am evolutionary standpoint meats better because In the wild it’s easier to live off one animal” . Bro we aren’t in those times anymore

This topic is a prime example of why Indian men are the most frustrating clients to train. It's gotten to the point now where I don't train them anymore.

Genetically they're not designed to carry a lot of muscle and they're always vegan/vegetarian for religious reasons. But they all want to build tons of muscle because they hate being skinny fat.

Then they're always very impatient from a time investment standpoint where they complain weekly about slow progress and they're very unrealistic with their goals. They refuse to accept that their genetics and sub optimal diet/protein consumption are extremely limiting.

You guys need more research on complete amino acids and vegan diets. A lot of what you guys said has been debunked. Particularly because in a country like the US you can’t avoid completing amino acids profiles. You would have to literally just eat something like seitan to lack complete amino acid profiles. If that person just ate potatoes they’d catch up.

The only thing I’d give to you guys is how hard it is to eat enough protein on a low calorie diet, because you can’t just eat no fat chicken breast or something.

Hey guys, shows like today, that once again could just get rated 11 out of 10 on the awesome-vibe-meter, make me really hope the Mind Pump Show will still run a long ass time. I'd wish to see your company develop into the epitomy of fitness education done right on a global scale.

Would be awesome to see your content and programs become multilingual in some way (maybe subtitles that are less painful than auto-translate?) to get past speaking English in order to access your knowlegde and spark exponentially more impact. I bet a lot of people's moms and dads around the world are already hoping for that to happen, just like my parents here in Germany do.

Also, don't you feel like an in house Mind Pump academy (or online academy) to train and certify new generations of trainers is in the air? 😀

Another great episode! You guys have become the soundtrack for my evening walks with my son- information and banter!
Great message- really easy to under eat protein as it is- my mum switched to a vegan diet around a year ago, which dramatically improved her arthritis, however has now started eating the eggs from her own chickens again as she had such low protein intake which has made a huge difference

Hey, I'm a vegan and I totally agree with the idea that in the end the nutrition plan and how well you execute it will make the results, be it vegan or not. In addition, I am vegan for a cause, a belief. I honestly think you can be healthy as a vegan or not.
However, something that has been talked about is on long term impacts of eating meat and having cancer.
Do you guys know anything about this? I've read that eating meat may improve the probability of having cancer, but I am not a specialist and wanted to know what you think about this.
Does it make sense? Is it for real or there has to be more studies to affirm it? etc
