WOW! I just made this for dinner and it is A M A Z I N G ! ! ! All I did was Google WFPB mushroom stroganoff, and your recipe popped up. I always know I could trust your oil-free cooking, so I went for it. Best decision ever! Thank you! 😃
Ditto to smilingvegan – just made, absolutely delicious. Great recipe!
Yummy.
Thank you I am watching you From iowa.
This is so good! Just made it for lunch!! Thank you for making there recipes. I’m have only recently discovered your channel and going through making your recipes.
That looked so good. Now I need rice noodles. Yum.
That looks delicious!
Great taste! 🤩I just think that if you don't have a high-speed blender it might be worth adding the water in the blender in portions to make sure the sauce becomes homogeneous and not grainy. Or you could soak the cashews for half an hour or so…
Looks like I have a recipe for Sunday dinner – thanks Jill!
Great recipe the only change I would make next time is even more mushrooms. Thanks
I made this recently and it is a real 'Wow' meal! It's absolutely delicious and will be getting a regular slot on my monthly menu. I highly recommend this recipe 👌
What can I use in place of the vegetable broth? Don't have any and our supermarkets here in South Africa don't really all sell it
Just made this. Soooo yummy! This will become a staple meal for me for sure! I used oyster mushrooms as they are my favorite. No mustard, as I never have any at home. It works without it too. Love, love, love it! Thanks for this fantastically easy recipe!
So why does Jill remind me of Alice from the Brady Bunch in this episode 😆🥰But on a serious note, this recipe came out soooo good. I used cooked cannellini beans instead of cashews and this recipe is definitely a keeper for me!! Great job Jill!
OMG 😃 I made this!!! Good job with the measurements and the ingredients. Super tasty!!! I tweaked it by adding hot smoky paprika, and ground rosemary. Rosemary's kind of earthy so I liked it. Because I like my sauces a little bit on the thicker side. After putting all the ingredients in the NutriBullet, I put it in a small saucepan heated it up and added a little mixture of cornstarch and water to the sauce. Perfect it made it thicker. So quick and easy to make. I never ate mushroom stroganoff so I don't know what I'm missing. This will be a very favorite to make. 💗
I so love your site the recepies are great and easy to follow – i printed up the recepie and noticed that the nuts are not on the ingredient list – i made a note for the next time – i also subed out the white wine for marsala sherry – it pairs great with mushrooms – i love the flavor of this! – keep the recepies coming!
I normally make the sauce with water cashews blend very nice looks taste like white sauce
Could you do the rice noodle soup
Yummmm! I just made this, and it is delicious! I tripled the recipe because, I knew it was going to be amazing, and I like leftovers! I used campanelle noodles, which made this very hearty as well as eye appealing. Actually, it is so good that I plan to make it for Thanksgiving. Im the only one who is WFPB, but I know everyone will love it!
Made it last night! It was quick and easy to prepare and very tasty! If you love mushrooms, make sure you don't use oyster mushrooms because they don't have much flavor. I might add some minced garlic next time. Yet another keeper of Jill's recipes! Making African Peanut Sauce (stew) tonight!! Woohoo!
OMG! I cannot say enough about this dish! It is fabulous and soooo easy! It will definitely be on my rotation. Can't wait to try more of your recipes 😋 thank you!
Making this tonight! Can't wait! Jill, I discovered you a couple of months ago. I've been WFPB almost 2 years. Never going back! Thank you ever soooo much for all your hard work creating delicious recipes. Such a wonderful gift to all❤️
Are the noodles you used considered healthy?
Having this for dinner tonight! Thanks so much for sharing this excellent recipe with your admiring public. So darn tasty!!!
I made this tonight, it was amazing with lots of steamed veg. We ate it so quickly, no pic lol. Thank you so much, stroganoff was my favourite staple. Sent link to my daughter in NZ.
How can I add tempeh to this recipe?
I have a homegrown mushroom the size of a large dinner plate….might have found it's purpose!
Watching while making it! I'll meet you at the table! That line along with the piano music makes it like this is Mr Rogers neice or something on this show.
Best recipe so for! This is so delicious, I could eat it every day! My daughter loved it also. Will share with other whole food plant-based eaters!
This is amazing so rich yummy
This was YUMMY!!!!! Loved it!
Super easy to make and it was delicious
Just made this, I’m recovering from covid & my taste buds are still slightly off but it tastes amazing!
I used canned mushrooms as I couldn’t get out to buy fresh and sunflower seeds instead of cashews. I found it didn’t need any salt so I left out the braggs and only added pepper. This will become a go to recipe for me. Thank you 😊
I love mushrooms so I can’t wait to try this recipe.
Thank you for yet another fantastic recipe, Jill! We all loved this and it was reminiscent of the (beef… yuck) stroganoff my mom made when I was a kid. Of course that had heavy cream but this doesn't lack richness at all because of the cashews. My parents are visiting from out of town and she said she's definitely making this when they get home. It was super creamy, delicious and unbelievably easy. It took longer for me to boil water for the noodles than anything else! lol I always appreciate the continued inspirations and tips.
I just whipped up this sauce to have for dinner tonight. I cooked the onions and mushrooms in white wine and added fresh garlic. I doubled the recipe and for 1/2 cup of the 2 cups of liquid I used white wine. This is delicious!!! Can't wait to try it with my new Kaslo Sourdough Rotini tonight. Jill, you are the best!
IIs your pan ceramic?
Does anyone know how old are they?thanks
