in Vegan Diet

Hey friends! Today I’m sharing all about why I’m no longer vegan. I was a vegan for 13 years and a raw vegan for 3 of those years.

I stopped eating meat in 1998. Not only that I never felt the desire again, but even the smell makes me sick. Literally. I mean, I will go nauseous and even worse if I am in a space (like a supermarket) where is smell of cooked meat.
At dairy I renounced in 2003 (but between 2008-2012 I sporadically ate chocolate in cheese, few times a year).
Now I'm turning raw and I'm more enthusiastic than ever.
    .
Where I think you proceeded wrong:
    – you didn't supplement. I take almost daily a multivitamin supplements for vegans which contains the daily dose of most vitamins and minerals, except calcium and omega 3.
    – you didn't document enough about nutrition. I mean, from scientific books, not from "health books".
    – you didn't plan carefully your diet and didn't eat what would made you feel better long term.. You ate what you liked, you followed taste. Food is a tool, not a mean of pleasure. Of course, food must be palatable, in order to not be a torture when eating, but selecting which food to eat and the amount should be dictated by body's needs, not by taste buds.
    – you ate unhealthy things like sugar, refined food, coconut oil
    – you trusted too much doctors. Is not a contradiction with the above point about scientific books. Most doctors lead themselves an unhealthy lifestyle and are not well educated about nutrition.
    – you didn't combine nutrition with rescuing and caring animals. Animals are helping us become empathetic and humble
    – you gave too much credit to other vegans and to that raw community. You must resist the pressure of the need to belong to a group. You must be lonely on such way, at least, in respect of the way you educate yourself about it
    .
So if you do the above, I think you can become a raw vegan again.

You are one of the few that consumes lots of healthy whole plant foods in the process.
You have to make your own choices. I am a whole food ethical vegan for 25 years, and have
the energy to kayak for hours at a time, and bicycle for 1 1/2 hour rides. So, it works for me.

Veganism is not really such an old concept.
So it’s not been explored for to many years.
I had a friend she was close to death and had to go to hospital cause of severe brittle bones heart failure.
Not to mention she had severe anemia and could hardly walk. Teeth 🦷 falling out and hair.
Listen to your body it knows what it needs.
Veganism has almost developed into a cult we’re people are stopped harrast for eating meat.
I am not disputing that eating vegetables 🥗 fruits is healthy but it’s about a diverse diet.
People been eating meat since there beginnings.

How sad you didn't know or have the ability to eat plant based properly. So sad to know you didn't go to a "Nutritarian plant based doctor like Brenda Davis or Dr. Joel Fuhrman. You suffered in ignorance my dear. Oh well, live and learn. Hope you settle with a heart healthy diet and are happy with your health as well, your peace of mind. Good luck to you.

Health vegans are a red flag. My guess is that at 13 you didn't have enough calories. That ought to make you tired. As for raw foodism is a no go. Simply a starvation diet. Health vegans generally tend to over do it. You need fats and protein. You can't live on mango and kale. Soy is good for you. b12, d, iodin, zinc and iron are often needed as suplements and it's ok if you do it to be kind to animals. If you don't give a shit about animals don't go vegan.

If you are vegan don’t start doing cleanses and fast and all this BS about the fact that you need to cleanse yourself every time life is in perfect. This is what ruined your gut and then you can’t digest the fruits and vegetables you can digest anything and then you blame it on veganism which it is NOT

Vegan is NOT the problem ! You can’t do all that cleansing and enamas and teas and alll crazy fasts and ruin your gut micro biome and blame it on veganism . Yiu have to fuel your body not starve it !!! I just hate all these vegans that are quitting after doing all kinds of crazy fast detoxes cleanses because they think they need to all you need to do is eat healthy fruits and vegetables and feel your body and you will be fine.

I applaud you for eating what you want and being open about it. I'm not one those people who will ever eat meat. My whole life, I didn't like meat and yes, some people feeling better eating meat but I'm not one of them. We all have different needs and taste buds and need to figure out for ourselves what works. It sounds like you are doing that. I tried a bread recipe you had on your page and made it on Friday night. It was raw vegan bread and it was very good. I loved it. I thank you for those recipes you shared that were raw vegan. I've enjoyed them. I hope you continue to feel better now that you are eating what feels good to you. It's important we all know what makes us feel good to eat and figure that out. Again thanks for sharing your thoughts on why you eat meat again.

Just saying.. not trying to upset anyone.. but I’m a long time Vegan and I feel great.. no pain, clear mind, God realized.. so I think it’s just a personal thing. I think it’s worth trying for the sake of your karma.. but that’s of course up to each of us.. the food has a lot of toxins in it.. they don’t make it easy..

This is the second testimony that I hear where the subject goes a little wacky with the clenses and fastings and blame it on veganism. I've been a vegan since I was 13 and now at almost 30, never felt better. But then again, I don't do raw nor fast more than 16 hours.

I wish I had help getting off a vegan diet. I'm 20 years in but don't know how to eat eggs, definitely not meat. My energy is getting bad. I'm crashing. I need animal fat most likely.

I have also found that I feel best with animal foods in my diet. I struggled with health issues for years and eventually have gotten to where I am mostly animal based and I have never felt better. Glad you have found healing too.

I am vegan but seriously considering leaving after 8 years. I developed a b12 deficiency and feel so much better after addressing it, but my hair is brittle and thinning and I just don't think this is me feeling my best.

My husband and I have been vegan for almost 6 years! We’ve both been having meat cravings lately. I’ve been feeling tired and like I have a major vitamin deficiency lately, something isn’t right.

It’s so tough because just like you, vegan is my identity. I keep thinking it will pass but in my mind vegan is the best way of life. I’m stuck, thanks for the video and sharing your truth!

Eating meat is like making a lease or mortgage payment on my sacred temple. It’s the protein glue that holds my tissue stable.
I dew the medical medium protocol first thing in mornings for 2 years. One or two meals a day. 12 hour intermittent fasting daily.

I am dewing macrobiotic and vegan cooking lessons for the rest of my life to give me a well repertoire of meal cooking for my senior years.
I use #LiquidBiocellCollagen2012 daily to grow my teeth and hair. Bioavailability collagen saved my teeth in 2012. Age 50YO.
