great
Interesting.Thank you.
What's your overall view regarding soya protein? Is it healthy? Does isolated soy protein cause an issue for long term health? Does it really matter I guess is what I am asking (protein aside) or should it "ideally be avoided"?
You’re a king
Great video guys. Planning on finally going much more whole food plant based soon but these will do great in a quick pinch.💪🌱🧠
Great video. Very insightful! Thanks for sharing xx
Hey man I have been vegan for 2 months I lost 15 pounds but I look leaner but I don’t wanna loose anymore please be my meal coach I can pay u until I get it together
Nice video bro help me a lot
Very useful video guys, thanks for that 👍
When will your next live be? 🙂
Or cook at home, buy a thermal bag and freezer packs and hit the road.
Just sent this as a reply but as an FYI for anyone looking for decent wholegrain bread without all the oil/additives of most supermarket stuff – There are some wholegrain pittas you can get from Tesco which are vegan. Wholegrain, contain only; wholewheat flour, water, yeast and vinegar… and are only 35p for 6!
Brilliant video! I’ll share this to my flesh eating friends so they can see all the delicious food on offer to a plant based diet ! They still assume there’s nothing to eat if you don’t eat animal products.
Gemma has a great voice for this.
Soooo Hench what do you consider great/acceptable/avoid at all costs levels of fats? I get a bit confused on this!
Do you stay away from healthy monounsaturated fats that come from macadamia nuts avocados olives and coconut oil? Considering half of the human brain is made of fat (much of which is omega 3 fatty acids) it would seem foolish to neglect them.
Sadly a-lot of these products are high in sodium sugar and refined oils
You should make response videos to the bs YouTuber KenDberryMD. Dude has like 2million followers.
I'm familiar with most of theses products, and have tried some of them. Processed food tends to be high in salt too, might be worth checking (although I realize you're emphasizing protein here). Certainly good for convenience, and the way you put them together as meals looked healthier too 🙂 Thanks for the video, always enjoy these guides!
Great video I like your videos.
I live in china and I miss tesco so much ahaha, seeing all these vegan options is crazy, there is literally nothing here
Another great video Hench. Personally I stay away from these. The 4 bean salad from Sainsbury's is one I will buy though. Long ingredient lists put me off too. If I'm out for the day I'll pack Dutch or German rye bread to keep the hunger away until I get back.
Oh mate I've been meaning to ask you, what cooking oil do you use?
I'm about to press play but my money is on Aldi having the best options
Have you tried soya chunks of nutrela
It contains 50 grams protein per 100 gram
You can remove its smell by boiling it in water and vinegar
Squeeze them sfter cooling
Add spices , marinade them
Then air fry
It contains almost negligible amounts of sodium
These video are very useful 🙏 🌱
Could you do a video or series of videos taking apart the Fat Head documentary? The narrator seems so opposite to what you are saying and I think a lot of people would be interested in what you think of it, myself included.
Btw love your videos, keep up the great work👍.
I wish my store had all those nice vegan pre-made options! Just to have something different every once in a while. Though I should be eating whole foods anyway so I guess it's also good they aren't options. lol
I can attest that even as a long term vegan, coconut oil dramatically made my cholesterol jump years ago. I quit it!
Have you got an air fryer? Would be good to go know some good ideas of what food to do in one…
Wow, nice to learn about England as I don’t know anything about those stores.
Awesome video 👌👌
Awesome vlog video
Good choice of vegan options in the UK , much better than in the Netherlands. Thanks for the video🌱✌
Great Video Paul While Veganism is growing so much!!!
Got a question about the wholegrain wraps I was thinking of getting it but the Oil put me of
What would Your Advice be ?
Veganism is rising and thriving while carnism is trying and dying! Keep fighting vegan warriors! CHARGE!!!!
Seems like a lot of good options in the UK, where I live (north of NL) its still lacking in choices. I usually go with half a whole wheat bread if its fresh and some fruit/sweet bellpeppers and if I have a spoon Id get a vegan yoghurt. I shouldnt complain though, there have been so many new foods the last 3 years!
Damn I wish we had those Bol protein soups in Australia. Or any of those things even. Plenty of quorn here though. Fuck quorn.
Always love your videos, usefull tips but still prefer home made things because the supermarket things always taste kinda salty to me 😅
The smallest quarter of a teaspoon of harissa paste is ideal to flavor reconstituted dried soya mince. Miso is also ace as theres a rice based miso for us gluten free'ers.
My wife mainly shops at ASDA, occasionally Tesco's very informative video thank you👍✌✌
Heaven
Can’t wait to see you both at campout! I’m wanting lots of selfies !!!!😁💚
Why not touch coconut oil? I always thought it was a healthier one to consume. The vegetable and soy bean oils full of polyunsaturated fats and have a low smoke point making them unnatural to consume?
Great tips and love the fact you dont agree with palm oil either as i know some vegans do. Xx
Awesome vid. Thanks Hench. Do you avoid oils altogether, or just certain ones?
