Its not at all that complicated at all. The issue is that people go to extemes. Yes eating nothing but meat is restrictive. Its not that plants are bad you have to limit the plants you eat to those that dont cause problems and also how your eating them. Example in Mediterainian countries they eat lots of Tomatoes but they skin them, remove the seeds and eat only the pulp because the lectins in those parts of the tomato are designed by nature to stop you from eating them. The Lectins in many vegitables( especially beans and legumes) present identicle issues to Gluten and other plant protiens that are all designed by nature for the same funtion, so you wont eat them. They are a protective covering and we Westerners just eat them anyway and its why we have issues. Chinese and other Asians ate rice for 5000 years without issues. Well besides they adapted over time to eat such a diet, they also removed the hull from the rice and dont bleach it either. They also eat alot of fermented foods we have only begun eating here. You dont need to eat any added sugar, you can cut sugar almost entirely from your diet, you dont and shouldnt eat breads and grains and they do you no good what so ever and alot of bad. Certain vegitables such as Brussle Sprouts, Asperigus, Cabbage( especially fermented Cabbage like Sour Kraut and Kimchi, Avacad plenty of Healthy fish like Sardines, Macrel, Anchovies, Herring and Salmon as well as Grassfed, paature rased Beef and Chicken, Eggs and Healthy Oils such as Avacado and EVO. That is not restrictive at all. You can also eat berries such as Blue Berries and Blackberries etc in limited ammounts. Intermittant fasting is amazing as well when combined with these eating habbits.

I don't get why it seems amazing or considered as some benefit the quite obvious fact that protein are satiating ( duh ) or that you'll loose weight when you're cutting off literally everything you'd normally eat minus the protein ( duh ) . All the science she's talking about , I'm not sure how many can understand and discern whether what she's quoting is correct , is a smokescreen to hide from the fact that simply , you cannot live on less than a handful of nutrients , your body is gonna consume itself trying to keep you alive . I tried it because it’s not far off from my normal diet and in 2 weeks I’ve lost 10 lbs just the boost I needed before the summer idk how sustainable it will be going forward but I’ll stick to it for now . Scientist have found that certain types of simple sugar are fuel/food for certain types of cancer. If you have any type of cancer I recommend that you remove alcohol, milk and added sugars from your diet. So I can understand how fasting can help to shrink tumors. I am sure JRE has interviewed other scientists that have studies linking sugars and cancers.
The KEY common denominator is probably Fructose. Fructose has been shown in recent studies to TRIGGER a fat storing cycle… similar to what hibernating animals experience. For me, (thinking about going carnivore) its health problems that doctors just give medicine for. I have migranes 8days a month, i have edomwtriosis. Its basically impossible for me to work cuz 8 days i have to take medicine that makes me so sleepy and i cannot drive after it, and later on my period 4 days with pain i cannot move or do anything. I hope this diet will help me. I feel its the last option for me cuz living like this is horrible

Just eat lean meat, potatoes/rice/pasta with some (leafy) greens and you'll be alright.
