Another easy way to save is to shop in ethnic stores. Seasoning are super cheap plus beans and such are super cheap. I buy 25 lbs of really good rice for 20 to 25 dollars. I can get lentils for under 2.00 for a 32 oz bag. I buy mushrooms from the Asian market along with tofu, soy strips, and sauces. I bought some.beautiful oyster mushrooms that I'm gonna make into "chicken" I am looking forward to those. You can also buy gluten free flours for like under 2.00 for a package of I think a lb. Saving money while cooking at home can be as simple as you want. Also Farmers markets can be a great place to buy fresh veggies.
Omg are the chicken and beef mr noodles actually vegan!?? (In canada) I used to love the spicy chicken one but could never get a concrete answer if they were or weren't vegan.
