My diet lately, adding carbs as required for training load: Breakfast: 1lb beef, 3 or 4 eggs, fresh melon or peaches Lunch: double hamburger with veggies on Carbmaster extra protein bread, vegan cheese slice optional. Mustard and sugar free ketchup. Optional: reheated boiled potatoes pan fried or air fried (insoluble starches) Snack: COLD sardines in olive oil with soy sauce and siracha (my version of sushi) No Cow protein bar (I'm dairy free). Boiled or pickled eggs or peanuts or pistachios. Sugar snap peas, baby carrots, Mio electrolyte concentrate in a few of my waters. I drink at least a gallon. Also I add my psyllium husk fiber shake which makes me feel so good with wheat grass juice powder to wash down some supplements. Dinner: Big ol steak, bone in pork chop, can of peas or greenbeans (I like canned best sue me) Bedtime snack: Premier protein cereal with almond milk, sprinkled with allulose and maybe some fresh fruit.
I don't always eat all of these meals, some days I OMAD, or fast until about 2pm. I eat these things to hit about 2300-2700 cals. I'm 6'3 200lbs and this is about my maintenance depending on how busy I am at work and my training. I usually just add an extra 3k steps to drop weight keeping all other things consistent. And I'll eat all of that stuff in one day to beef up, but that is a disgusting amount of food for me and the next day I won't want anything.
HELP…I cannot get my shake thick and creamy like this!!! Need advice…😢… I thought possibly my xantham gum was old or something and replaced that but still no difference…ANY ADVICE??
Consuming only a small protein drink (30g protein) pre-lunch solves all of my problems. I sometimes get to the end of the day and realize I still need to eat to hit my 2kcal goal.
I think your emphasis on volume is just psychological. For me, I just want to feel full. Definitely don't want to minimize time in the kitchen, as well. Chipotle burrito bowl is <3.
is it possible to replace most of my meals with 2 scoop of protein shakes? Im doing that and hoping im on the right track. Im hitting my protein macro all the time, fat macro on most days and my carb marco is always under the targetted macro.
did you not use any vegetable or canola oil for the egg breakfast? i feel like it's necessary which would add about an extra 120 calories unless i'm wrong

this gave me some great ideas, I want more volume, need to make more effort with vegetables and lean proteins to bulk up the meals.
