    For June 2023, The average cost of the Household Food Basket is R5,056.45. Month-on-month, the average cost of the basket decreased by R15.14 (-0,3%), from R5 071,59 in May 2023.

    However, year-on-year, the average cost of the Household Food Basket increased by R367,65 (7,8%), from R4 688,81 in June 2022

    I've been high raw vegan for over 6 years after a life changing surgery. Also, I'm 65, live in NYC, and I've only had an Impossible Burger once at a restaurant, which was really not that exciting. Personally, my diet is considered [high raw] because 75 to 80% of what I consume on any given day is raw. The balance of my diet is cooked beans, grains, warm to hot beverages like coffee and tea and occasional steamed starchy and nonstarchy vegetables, which are in the form of a soup or stew during the winter.

    I don't know if you will see this comment, but there are two suggestions that I have experienced that may help.

    First, many individuals benefit from an addition of more water. Most notably, a 12 to 24 ounce water, with either half a lemon juiced or 1 to 2 tablespoons (more water, requires more acv) of apple cider vinegar. This aids in digestion and further elimination, as well as initial hydration.

    The second issue is that your portion sizes were rather small. If you take a look at the most notable vegan raw and regular vegan influencer's, their meal sizes are much larger. The reasoning is that whole plant foods are not calorie dense.

    So have a 16 oz. smoothie, have more overnight oats, or double that kale salad 🥗 BTW, you can make a pesto with seasoned kale and pour it over just about anything for a nutrient dense topping for anything. I hope these tips help 🙏

    Hi! Your video really motivated me to go on a one week raw vegan challenge. If I feel great at the end of the week, I will continue for another week. I haven’t been feeling well for the last 4 years after having my son. My stomach still sticks out, I’m always bloated, and tired. I’m going to try this challenge to give my body a rest.     #NEWSUBSCRIBBER I loved the foods you make during the 5 day Vegan challenge. It looked so amazing and I will be trying the Salad tonight….. 6-23-23
    I had to jump on here and tell you how good each meal looked. I will be doing Vegan atleast 3 days out of my week because I notice the older I get certain foods do not agree with
    me anymore and the bloated feeling Is also not working. I also want and need to lose 20 pounds so I am doing this for several reasons.
    I logged onto Youtube and typed in fruit weight loss 14 days and you, a few other people popped up and I will be supporting your channel as well as possibly doing some of the challenges with you and the family…. #Thanks4Sharing

    Eating a raw plant-based diet is the best it's a small sacrifice to feel phenomenal especially when there's so many great recipes out there one does not feel left out
    I've been alkaline raw for over 14 years now it has helped cure many health issues and yes even has saved my life

    Great video! Hallelujah Acres encourages an 85/15 plan. 85% of your daily food is raw whole foods plant based and 15% is cooked. You pretty much have one cooked meal a day and the rest of your food is raw. That's a great way of getting the benefits of raw foods but still getting the satisfaction of the cooked foods as well. Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge with us.

    Your video is very inspiring. We just pulled into a hotel when I saw this. I was planning on going to grocery store anyway, so I bought some salad, fruit, smoothie. I also found sushi but I’m not thinking it’s raw. Anyway, thanks for the video. I’m going to try increasing my raw all vacation.
