Excited to try this spot again. I remember the last time I went to champs was during 2020 and the wings were so bland and the wait time was so long. Hope I’m not disappointed

I went a few weeks ago and she walked in and I wanted to say hi but she was coming into work! Next time I will say hi for sure! She’s so cool. Best of luck to her and the diner. I’ve been to the other place several times before but I enjoyed the experience of Ro’s way more – and the food is great and the portions are enough for seconds! You get your moneys worth for sure and have great vibes. The servers are all lovely as well. Our server was so patient with us as we realized we couldn’t order the whole damn menu 😂
And importantly – the coffee was decent! Definitely better than “diner coffee”!!!

It's so great that a pretty famous vegan diner continued to live on and in such good hands instead of just closing down or turning into another non vegan spot. Ro seems very cool and I'm glad you have done this interview to show what the place is now, it's not just "the place that was Champs". I heard Champs was just okay anyway so this was probably the best outcome!

Tbh I would prefer this honestly. Champs' menu was getting outdated compared to many more contemporary vegan menus that aren't just all soy
