Hi I made the cupcakes they turned nice but I wanted to ask tht 1tbsp baking powder after putting it I found taste of cupcake as if little soda was more or any other mistake why was the taste like soda coming

Tried this recipe as cake instead of cupcakes, with 2 changes. I used watered down milk instead of water and used melted butter instead of oil. Finished it in a few days, it was so good. After the fact, I saw you had an actual cake recipe, so I will try that one next time. Thanks for sharing.

just made them today i use stevia leaves instead of granulated sugar as my sweetener, it was soooo good and delicious thanks for sharing your recipe❤❤❤
Maida1.5cup210g
Granulated sugar 3/4 cup
Baking powder 1tblsp
Salt a pinch
Mix
Vegetable oil 1/3cup (75ml)
Warm water 1 cup (250ml)
1 tbsp vanilla extract
Mix
Add oil mixture little by little
Mix until no lumps
Bake in preheated oven

I made these and they turned out GREAT!! The first batch came out a little too oily so I had to make a second batch, and thank God they came out great! They were soft, light and fluffy! I decorated them with lemon flavoured purple frosting and chocolate eggs for Easter and my family LOVED them! Can't wait to make them again! 🥰
