In India a lot of people are vegetarian because of our culture. I was vegetarian since childhood, and when I turned vegan last year, I very clearly saw a positive change in my physical as well as mental health. This is my anecdotal experience. The mental health improvement has been a big impact on my overall well being.

Chimps, orang utangs, bonobos, gorillas all have elongated digestive systems and that includes man. Plant matter does not contain the toxins, poisons and deadly bacteria that accumulates in the body if not excreted quickly so true carnivores tend to have shortened digestive systems. It's only relatively recently that we have been stuffing ourselves with a food source that our bodies are simply not equipped to handle – at least not in such huge quantities and we are paying the price. Cancer and all forms of bowel disease have sky rocketed and placed huge pressure on our health systems and yet are insatiable craving for corpse food is unreleting. What makes it worse is that anyone who opposes this revolting practice is labelled a tree hugger or Greenie or with veiled references to their masculinity while simultaneously beating their chests.

    Hint- body weight…gravity …

Here's an amazing video explaining all that..

FYI for those who think this fella is making a good video, gorillas are coprophagic, ie they eat their poop, so unless you want to eat poop, don't compare gorillas. And bones are not just calcium, they are also collagen, and Vitamin K2 is far more important for calcium regulation, which you can get in good amounts from meats. Terrible video.

Monocropping destroy ecosystems and kills animals, directly and indirectly. Most monocrops are grown FOR HUMANS. Animal products are healthier than plant based products because the former is nutrient dense and contain complete amino acids and has far lesser antinutrients. Plant products had lectin, phytates, oxalates, phytoestrogen, gluten, etc that really mess up your digestion system in addition to missing B12 and choline. And what is the point of comparing gorillas to humans? Gorillas spend 10 hours a day eating, and they eat their poop to get hind gut digestive nutrients. Are vegans going to do that? No. Most of the points raises in this video is nonsense, including that bit about milk and bones. Disgusting ignorance and lies, vegans are STILL lying and projecting.

6 years vegan, all organic, spirulina smoothies daily. After almost 6 years vegan found myself in deep dark depression with very high blood pressure, slow healing wounds and swollen legs.Quit veganism and depression went away quickly.Blood pressure, slow healing wounds and swollen legs remained.About 1 year ago started a carnivore diet.Within 6 weeks my vlood pressure normalized and leg swelling went away. Now about 1 year eating meat, fish, eggs, butter, raw milk i continue to have normal BP, no swelling and no slow healing wounds.Eating a carnivore diet has had the most positive effect on my overall health.
Veganism is not a proper human diet, its more like a mental health ailment.

At the end of the day, it is mostly about what diet works best for you. If you are a meat eater and are experiencing a bit of inflammation, maybe consider veganism or limiting meat/dairy consumption. Whereas if you are a vegan and struggling to get the right vitamins/minerals despite doing everything you can, maybe consider introducing some non vegan foods to help.
No diet is perfect and works for everyone.
Since becoming vegan 11 years ago, I realise that I enjoy food more. Apparently I didn't like meat as much as I thought I did. I noticed no change to my health or mood. However, keep an eye on that calcium. I'm pretty sure I missed out on a few inches of height.

Plus, you have to consider this: someone who considers themselves to be a pescatarian; are they eating fish every day? It’s the balance that matters. I bet you, you could up your fresh organic produce intake and still eat red meat once in awhile and as long as you’re choosing 100% grass fed/finished. You’ll likely be healthier than say a 100% vegan or a pescatarian who has to have some type of sea meat as their main course. Yes eat more veggies and less meat. But mean can be a delicacy.

Many people continue to think avoiding meat as infrequently as once a week will make a significant difference to the climate. But according to one recent study, even if Americans eliminated all animal protein from their diets, they would reduce U.S. greenhouse gas emissions by only 2.6 percent. According to our research at the University of California, Davis, if the practice of Meatless Monday were to be adopted by all Americans, we’d see a reduction of only 0.5 percent.

Moreover, technological, genetic and management changes that have taken place in U.S. agriculture over the past 70 years have made livestock production more efficient and less greenhouse gas-intensive. According to the FAO’s statistical database, total direct greenhouse gas emissions from U.S. livestock have declined 11.3 percent since 1961, while production of livestock meat has more than doubled.

"Over exaggerated"? Redundant. I think the word you're looking for is 'exaggerated'. Also: there are studies that herd animals REDUCE desertification more than ANYTHING ELSE, AND most of the 'vegan is good for the environment' studies DO NOT include ALL of the fossil fuel use needed for cultivation. Basically, when comparing the carbon footprint of growing vegetables to raising meat these studies DO NOT include the entire carbon footprint of fertilizer, running tractors, transport etc. for growing the veggies – though all of this was included when evaluating meat. In other words, the studies are seriously flawed. Also, chimps are not vegetarian. ALSO: vegetable protein is NOT the same, and some people do not utilize it the same. If I have a vegan protein shake, I will crash pretty quickly, not so with a dairy-based or (in my case), CIRCKET-based shake – these keep me going. The way a soy shake makes me feel vs. a cricket shake is completely different.

7:07 again right on the picture study says it's less chances of heart disease in the vegetarian group – which the guy ignores, and just 3 more cases of stroke, which less difference and can be coincidence because of a small steady group. But even this study says vegetarian diet will decrease chances of heart disease more than increase the chance of stroke (10 to 3)

5:49 study does not have comparable numbers of vegans and other groups, 30000 meat eaters to 2000 vegans, cannot be good and representative from scratch. And there are also group of vegetarians who apparently doesn't have the higher risks. This guy manipulate to prove his idea and playing with your attention. Milk is not meat, and there are huge populations lactose intolerant and never drinked it in history. And much accurate studies with more people, he choosing specifically which "prove" his position, and mix up vegetarians-vegans, milk-meat like it's the same. Some vegetarians eat eggs so no risk of B12 deficiency, and still they're no meat eaters. Be careful what they try to put in your brain and at least read what is on a screen.

You don't understand how farming works, do you?
Yes raising animals takes more land, but you harvest more nutrients then that land would produce by growing pretty much any other plant. And it doesn't take much fertilizer for grazing land because the animals fertilize it. You should leave your house sometimes and see how this stuff actually works.

You totally lost credibility with the falsehood that veganism is better for the environment. This is flat out WRONG. If you think cattle farts are more dangerous than the runoff from companies like Monsanto/Bayer you simply don't even understand the issue wellenough to even HAVE and opinion. An uninformed opinion has no value and should simply be disregarded.
You claim to have done your research and yet here you are presenting GLARING DISINFORMATION.
Chimps hunt and kill monkeys in groups, NOT vegan. Gorillas have a cecum, we don't.
    Sorry, FAIL.
Try again and maybe regain some credibility but this time do the actual research not just skim the corporate studies.

Don't Gorillas have a longer cecum that enables them to efficient derive needed nutrients from the LIMITED SPECIES of plants they eat? Also, Are you really trying to base a preferred diet on what organs we have or don't have? Are you high? Also, @3:50 you state we can get enough protein from all those varieties of plants but where on earth do they grow together naturally & and abundantly without human action? Veganism is one based on ideology, not science. You can't "survive" on just plants. This is something that only an individual in a wealthy country can pull off. BUT!!! But… You can survive on just meat. Prove me wrong. #carnivore

I'm disappointed in the lack of research that went into this video. You are wrong on almost every point made, especially the environmental ones. You should a really read how those studies were conducted and not just the conclusions. The vast majority of water claimed to be used for cattle is rainwater, not irrigation from lakes and streams which is what is scarce. The vast majority of land used is not suitable for crops. Even the claims on methane from cows are missing the whole picture of the carbon cycle. Almost all studies claiming plant foods have less carbon footprint than animal ones compare by WEIGHT, not by NUTRITION which would be much more accurate.

Meat contains no dietary fiber, which is essential for digestive health and can help reduce the risk of various chronic diseases. Fiber is mainly found in plant-based foods like fruits, vegetables, legumes, and whole grains.

Vitamins and Minerals: A diet primarily composed of meat may be deficient in several vitamins and minerals, such as:

Vitamin C: This vital antioxidant is primarily found in fruits and vegetables and is essential for immune health, skin health, and wound healing.

Vitamin A: Meat contains little to no vitamin A. Sources of vitamin A include liver, fish, and colorful vegetables like carrots and sweet potatoes.

Vitamin K: Leafy greens and certain vegetables are excellent sources of vitamin K, which plays a crucial role in blood clotting and bone health.

Folate (Vitamin B9): Folate is essential for DNA synthesis and cell growth. It's abundant in leafy greens, legumes, and fortified cereals. It is not found in meat!

Calcium: Meat does not provide calcium, which is crucial for bone health. Fortified plant-based milk alternatives, and leafy greens are good sources of calcium.

Healthy Fats: While meat contains fats, it lacks healthy fats found in sources like nuts, seeds, and avocados. These fats provide essential fatty acids and have various health benefits.

Antioxidants and Phytochemicals: Meat does not contain the antioxidants and phytochemicals found in plant-based foods. These compounds play a vital role in protecting cells from oxidative damage and supporting overall health.
