Well, as a person living on his own, with an electricity budget, this is a bit of a fail, Jamie.

It takes 20 minutes just to chop up the veg. And cook and mash the potato. With my biggest knife. No casserole dish, so made do with my frying pan. Then shifted it all to the microwave ( air fryer? Halogen oven?) as my smart meter climbed ever upwards.

Way too much for one of course. So went half-size. Which leaves me with most of a swede and a celeriac to have do something with, somehow. And a half tin of green lentils. Soup, maybe?

So. Marking this video up as a nice fantasy. But not practical.

What can I use instead of marmite or Vegemite? I made a dish with Vegemite once and it was AWFUL!! Could I substitute with Worcestershire instead?

I became vegan after many years of trying. Finally I am not just accustomed now, I am motivated every single day to expand. This dish is hearty, filling, and ofcourse DELICIOUS 😋

Game changing and vegetarian don’t belong in the same sentance. Put some mince in it and behave.

I made one earlier with Swede + Carrot mash on top and for the "meat" I did tinned chickpeas and cauliflower. Loved it and first time mashing swede and carrot and first time ever using chickpeas

Ok I have just made this and it is really really good. It’s going in my handwritten book (Only the best recipes make it into there). The only thing I’ve changed is to do the potatoes as half ordinary potato and half sweet potato (which is what I normally do anyway). Thanks Jamie you’re wonderful! Oh and just one thing to add; the fried Rosemary is inspirational.

All these ingredients mixed together seams like it will taste odd but since I’m a vegetarian I’m going to try it
