This is a top notch recipe. (Thanks for giving metric measurements!) I followed it to the letter, except taking the cake out 10min earlier because my oven has a fan. Perfectly baked. It’s a very sweet cake and doesn’t even need a topping imho, just delicious as is with a cup of tea. Maybe a few fresh orange wedges on the side.❤🍊
I made this orange bread twice and I absolutely love it. Infusing the sugar by rubbing in the orange zest is super smart. The glaze is very important to the overall taste so I make it a little thick so it doesn't run down too much. I love this recipe.

Hello there, thank you for this video. I can't wait to make one. I have a question though. I don't use white sugar and will be using either brown sugar or soft version of brown sugar instead. Would this still work and anything I need to be aware of if I am using briwn sugar versions at all?

For those thinking of using olive oil, do not do it. It is foul tasting in cakes. So wrong.😢

But why the cake still white colour not brown
I bake with bain marie n put aluminium foil.on the top it
In my country the government made a law few years ago to reduce sugars in cakes chocs etc. Hence confectiiners bakers etc have cut down sugar drasticalls and thes swrets candies chics taste amazing. You mentioned using scale to weigh the ingredients but you do not give the weights in metruc. Come on preppy kitchen thid us 31 centuary.
