Homemade Dog Food on a Budget (Vegan Plant-Based)

I struggle a lot being vegan and having a dog. Its so much information/misinformation about it online I never know what to do. I end up feeding her meat but im not happy about it. I wish I’d found hope in this video but its so many contradictory comments

Incase you didn’t know, dogs aren’t vegan.

Dogs should have meat in their diet as they eat more meat than the veggies, it’s cruel just to feed dogs on a plant diet as they are omnivores, even the grass eating animals will eat a small amount of meat to get the nutrient that is needed to support their diets

Hi, I’m a longtime vegan dog mama myself! Decades of long living healthy pups and never had a dog or cat die from cancer ever. May I ask where you got your info about turmeric, and also your previous dog food video talking about rosemary being safe for dogs? Lots of dog resource books give meat recipes…. I’m considering switching to at least maybe half homemade half kibble or something to save money. I’ve done Evolution and Natural Balance all these years. I’ll take any nutrition and/or ingredients to be aware of resources and thank you so much! I know Vegedog got a little cookbook…. And now new studies are out saying that vegan dogs are healthier than the meaty one. They say there needs to be an important nutritional balance with homemade that most people miss, so it’s easier to get readymade food stamped with approval by a vet (like Evolution). If you have information/resources I’d appreciate that so much and thank you. 🙏🏾❤️

So glad you posted this video on how to make homemade Vegan Dog Food. It does look good enough for dogs to eat. I did laugh a little, because kidney beans for dogs? Who knew? OMG. I know they give my husband gas, I wonder if it will give my dogs gas? Well, you would've said so. But by the looks of it, your dogs are loving that food.

What evidence do you have that cooking nooch "cooks the nutrients out of it"? I add it to soups all the time and it's great.
