Just found the two of you today!! Thank you for inspiring me. I have been trying to go raw for a long time. I allowed a very stressful year to cause me to gain weight. I am a singer and an artist. I can be a fat artist, no biggie, but being an overweight singer, that's not good! I have been binge watching your videos all night. I am supposed to be working on my songs, lol! But hey, this is so important! I am also needing to heal from macular degeneration and have to avoid all refined oils and sugars. Sugar is more addictive than cocaine! But you two are motivating me and I thank you!! PS: I lived in Northwest LV for almost 2 decades! Off Alexander Rd!
This makes a lot of sense because I know these two guys Beavis and Butt-Head that say they are vegans and all these eat are nachos and nachos are not raw food. When I went to visit my friends Beavis and Butt-Head they buy their nachos from Maxi Mart. I told them to eat raw foods right you need to eat corn. Beavis said corn sucks but Cornbread rules.
Is this cookbook the same as the original one with the black cover?
they come across, to me, like they don't know what they're talking about… (I'm a viewer of the vegetablePolice channel)
This is why I'm vegan (and only splurge on VEGAN cheesecake:)) versus plant-based… https://youtu.be/UcN7SGGoCNI?si=rCTpqoDfxlB2Epkd
My largely RAW food regimen is a diet, for my health. But my VEGANISM is not about me and is not a diet– it can never be broken. It is a deep heart-centered ethical philosophy/spirituality against violence to animals, injustice against animals, and stealing of animals' free will to live free from suffering. π±πππ
This video has answered so many of my questions. Thank you π
if you put the apple in the ground… you get a crabapple
By "cheesecake" I assume (since you didn't say vegan cheesecake) that you meant dairy cheesecake?
If you sometimes eat animal products, even if once a year or once a decade, you're not technically vegan by definition because "vegan" is an ethical stance against all violence to animals, use of animals, and injustice to animals. You would actually be "plant-based" if you just eat a primarily raw plant based diet. Or even if you eat a 100% raw plant based diet, but for reasons like your health. "Vegan" is by definition about the animals.
I really wish people in the raw community would get this and clear up this confusion. People say things like, "yeah I was vegan for this long, and then stopped for a while." So you stopped being against animal abuse? No, you stopped eating a plant-based diet.
Plant based (whether raw or not) and veganism are two different things. They are being used interchangeably and it's causing a lot of confusion for people and is not helpful to the victims who are the animals.
If you eat raw you won't get sick. But you will die due to fertilizer and chemicals which use on trees nowadays..! πππ
Haha yes they are leaving quick because they are not overweight and say they are going to starve
I cut out 1/2 of animal protien sources.. chicken eggs, milk, cows meat.. after a doctor foundbvb that I was allergic..
One of my worst uncomfortable inflammatory symptom stopped happening. I believe it was the change in diet…
I was cooking on weekends.. mushrooms/Onions lots of olive oil, salads, fruits, 3 to 4 different types of nuts, berries.. got into kraut, capers, broccli, stringbeans, asparagus, carrots, tomatoes…rice, beans
And seed type crackers that are gluten free.
Then I lost kitchen and food prep area and food storage space.
I still try to make good choices when buying food..
Lately its healthy microwave t.v. dinners. And steering away from fast food as well as what I am allergic too.
You say, by juicing you put all the fibers out. That's true. But you juice, too. I saw so many juicing videos from you. What do you have to say about that?
