Hi. I’m learning a lot about WFPB diet. I love oatmeal but I get so ravenous after I eat oatmeal/high starch containing food after 1hour and I don’t know what to do to counter that. I am trying to incorporate more veggies but I really don’t like salads, so it’s getting difficult to figure out what to eat. Any solution/ideas?

I eat like you do for my 3 main meals. Then at around 3pm I’m suddenly so starving and a piece of fruit doesn’t cut it. Would you say to have 4 meals a day? (I eat a massive lunch already). I’m trying to lose weight.

My favorite crunchy meal is baby carrots, cucumber slices, and fresh cauliflower dipped in homemade no oil hummus.

Also another fun recipe is "fry" nachos. I peel potatoes and cut into rounds about the thickness of a fry. Bake and they puff and get crispy. Then top with whole black beans, tomatoes, lettuce, salsa, hot sauce and a bit of avocado but not too much. It is best when potatoes are hot. It is good with spinach and any another "Mexican food flavors".
We also love green lentils as our taco "meat" just boil lentils then add a couple table spoons of your favorite taco seasoning stir and simmer a little longer.
