I'm not talking to sonny, but vegan people shouldn't be allowed to eat food that looks looks like meat or make food that looks like meat. It just tells that they want to eat meat.
I do not comprehend man's negative attitude towards vegan options of familiar meat products. Man in the video clearly does not understand what is the main point to make some vegan foods to mimic their meat versions. The point is habit. Many people who want to eat more plant based foods are used to use different kind of products in their cooking, like for example hot dog sausages, hamburger steaks, minced meat etc. When these same products are available in vegan options, it is much more easier to put plant based food to normal daily eating routines, because people can do everything like before, just with more healthy products. Bigger change is not needed, so it is very small step to eat more healthier and ethical(animal welfare, environment) with 100% plant based foods.
Only ONCE I tasted a Vietnamese chicken, it wasn’t chicken. It was made from tofu. It tasted fine at the markrt but at home it tasted gross. Never ate it agsin.
could have had him with the daring chicken if prepared well and shredded in a pasta perhaps. either way, I bet he'd call cultured meat meat: cuz it is.
100% true. Hindus know how to make great vegetarian meals, and it's because they don't pretend to be meat. The west just wants to have a cake and eat it too, and that won't work.
Im proud of you bro! I dont understand abstaining from meat but wanting to eat a burger. There are things i choose not to eat and i dont see the point in eating a similar version of it or how it would reward me. I dont eat dried fish. Im not going to eat an immitation version.
Well the thing is, there is a difference between catering to a vegan who wants a good replacement as a cost effective solution and trying to create an exact replica of a meat taste, smell and texture.

Sonny should be a food consultant because many establishments just do not hit the mark. Cool video and I am so hungry.
I cant stand fake meat !
Meat to mouth 🤣
It will never taste like meat. It tastes not bad to crap but never as good
His dog is name Banh Mi?!?!?! Lol
That's right. I enjoy veggies in their own form. No need to pretend it's a sausage 😂.
I have had some damn good vegetarian foods but there's still no substitute for the real deal.
I share those exact thoughts about imitation meat. Just make great veggie foods, don’t try to imitate meat.

"normal" is such a funny word.
