I am from carnivore community learned that their nutrition advice that plants are trying to kill us was wrong nutrition advice. Yet they are doctors example Dr Shawn Baker Dr Anthony Chafee etc. Now I have stated to include plants and soon i will be meat free. I haven't eaten meat this week only fish and eggs. Baby steps are progress too.
This is generous of you to make a homemade turkey that wasn't lentil meatloaf. I worry about some of the men who don't have a weight problem and are doing calisthenics to look nice. They are doing plant based as single men and need to expand there recipe ideas and come up with something good for the holidays.
I don't get the idea why so many vegan recipes and products are trying to replicate non vegan food so hard, or just call something "vegan versionof that". The diet should stand on its own, with its own products and recipes. I'm pretty sure Your recipe is delicious, but it's nothing like turkey:)
If we arent supposed to eat meat why do yall have to try so hard to make everything LOOK like meat? Why cant you just eat your apples and celery and be happy with it?

u could also do a tofu ‘skin’ w soy milk if u don’t have any rice paper
