    I don’t think I’ve ever seen trumpet mushrooms in Canada, is there another name perhaps? Or would a different mushroom work? This looks delicious, I made your vegan sausage at the weekend and oh my is it delicious

    I tried this today, but I feel like I did something wrong. I used the type you used but they were tough. I was expecting them to be crunchier. Do you have any suggestions for the next time. I’m thinking maybe cut them shorter so when I bite it the mushroom doesn’t come out the sandwich😅 Thanks but the flavor was on point.

    Liquid smoke is also great to add a smoky bacon flavor. I marinate chickpeas for a bacon flavor. Love your recipes. Wish I could find trumpet mushrooms here.

    I made this today. when i first tasted the vegan bacon, I thought, It's ok, then I tasted it again, thought, hey this is pretty good, then one more taste, man this stuff is GOOD! Thank you for giving us this recipe. I did user portobellos, because the Whole Foods didn't have any that day, they came out ok, I did add some liquid smoke also.
