Didnโt know about tip #8! Thank you!
Wow. Great tips!
Derek, you're a beast and I love your videos!
I just wanna say that I think there's a big misunderstanding even between plant based people and vegan people who know about nutrition and etc about meals:
Just because there's X vitamins and Y minerals and your body needs A and B to work properly, that doesn't mean, and, in fact, shouldn't mean, that we have and should eat a lot of different foods everyday!
The best option, digestion wise, energy wise and, as a consequence, health wise for the body and mind, is to eat few foods a day in the 2, 3 or 4 meals we have daily. That way, the body digests the food much more efficiently, there are no big "wars" between foods and their vitamins and minerals that might not get along together and we'll have our stomach empty during much more time which is the goal cause studies show that when we are well feed and the stomach is empty the body and mind can function at his best.
In the end, if you look at it weekly or monthly In what concerns with vitamins and minerals, if you eat "just" bananas, mangoes and a couple vegetables in one day and in the other "just" other kind of vegetables and other kind of fruits and so on so on you're going to achieve those values anyways and with many more positive consequences health wise.
Ok, sorry, it's a long comment, I'm done ๐๐ช
Ground breaking for me.
Yep, learnt lots, more of it pls
Great video! I had to give up meat completely because of health issues. I fought it a long time but I was so sick all the time. My Dr said that I can't digest it at all and to eliminate it all. So its been 6 months and I am amazed at how different your body feels when you eat good whole foods!
I feel like you're a fellow Canadian.
All so good Thank You โฅ๏ธ
These were great tips!! Feel like a bit of an idiot that I didn't think of a few of them though> LMAO
Pls add to grind the flax seeds always just before using them as the healthy oil in them get really fast bad (oxidise).
Milk in potato chips. That is SNEAKY. ๐
Very good tips!
My tip foramazing scrambled tofu: add turmeric, parsley, and basil. At the end sprinkle a little bit of nutrional yeast.
That veg in water tip is genius, I don't even understand why I never thought of it. My vegs are always wilting and I kept throwing them out. Not anymore.
Your a genius
nice.. sub!
Thank you for such a helpful video๐ธ
For the living lettuce, cut the heads of the lettuce off, leaving a ยฝ – 1cm on the top. Place the root ball in a bowl of water and place it in a sunny spot. Change the water every couple of days. Watch your lettuce grow again. Once the leaves begin to grow, you can plant the root ball into soil.

I usually see vegans getting anti-science, anti practicality, or economically non viable, by spreading like a cult the nothing frozen, everything fresh, no food preservation, no cans…
I live in South America. In my backyard have a lot of fruit and occasionally grow spices (they need to be taken care more often).
Seasons really matters, and so preservation.
Like one of my 4 banana plants, when they flower, delivers more fruit than me, my family, neighbors, gym buddies, can possibly eat. Almost the same happens with every plant.
Something useful to delay de ripe of many things, is to cover the small branch of the fruit with plastic transparent film (can be reused), so they don't get oxygen (specially useful with banana, and avocado). Vinegar and an upper layer of oil on sauces. Also on Sundays, make a full 2 week of different sauces and froze…
Lots of cool stuff on your channel!
Did this with cilantro and it was fine for 4-5 days, but was a mushy mess after that
You have definitely captivated my attention!
Thank you very much for your wonderful ideas
Parksville!!! WHAT! That's where my family lives!
Also watch out for โNatural Flavorsโ. They could be anything to include animal byproducts. ๐
Jacques Pepin cuts the stems of a cilantro bunch and freezes them for later use in soups, salsas, garnish etc!
