Now several local bakeries and stores have responded to the growing need, adding vegan, gluten-free and/or dairy-free options. But don’t wait to order, because demand is high and their deadlines are coming up fast.

Sundae
The Erie-based wholesale vegan baked goods company offers a Moist Maker dessert box for $45. $5 from each box will be donated to Noelle’s Foster Kittens, an Erie-based nonprofit that takes in stray kittens and finds them permanent homes. Place a Thanksgiving order with Sundae by Nov. 20 by emailing [email protected]. Pickup for Thanksgiving orders is Nov. 23 at 2 p.m., at 557 W. Eighth St.
Other Sundae options include:
