As a diabetic it's extremely frustrating and disappointing to see every recipe titled "no sugar" always has sucrose, fructose and glucose in some other form. Orange juice and honey are just as bad as sugar for humans. Certainly not guilt-free.

Well, honey IS sugar, so diabetics, please don't believe this doesn't have sugar; however, being diabetic, I am going to try to make this using sugar-free syrup, then I will only have to account for the carbohydrates (turn into sugar in the body) in the juice, cornstarch and coconut. Beautiful recipe is making my mouth water.

This is great and all but the problem is you take all the fiber out by getting rid of pulp and all that is really pure sugar cause oranges are the highest sugar content amount every once in a while I could see this

So, basically it is congealed sweetened juice. Remember that juice is loaded with calories so it may not have the fat, but it is still not the healthiest. Eating one of the raw oranges would be far better because you get the fiber with it.
Sorry I showed this to my dr to find out what I can and can't eat or choose to not eat since I am now diabetic. I can't have this and made me make a sad face. The corn startch turns into sugar in our body. The honey is a concentrated sugar too. UGH. Then there is the oranges. IT has a higher sugar content then a strawberry or blueberry does. Im so upset. It looks good and I want some bad. I can't now. cry.

This might be nice to eat, but it’s far from healthy. Cooking fruit much less just juice is not healthy, not to mention what cornstarch does to the gut micro biome , which is the very foundation of all health.
