Vince. I have just seen a 1 week old video of David Sinclair being interviewed in India, he has become and he promotes being Vegan, come on mate you have to give it up if your serious about anti -aging. 🤣
a, " low quality" plant based diet ? What does THAT mean ?
Retired
Canada
Last 4yrs i went 95% fruit n veggo..
Well..
Had mental break down 2yrs ago, along with constant stomach issues, health, heart etc..
After learning about lion diet and Gates and Black Rocks agenda🤬
I've been back on protein,
Loving my huge thick juicy bloody
Steaks again, fish, eggs, shellfish with a bit of fruit (berries)
NEVER FELT BETTER!
Hairs stopped falling out, muscle mass and strength is back, lost weight,
Back to my old self.
It's all a scam imo, an agenda pushed by globalists like Bill Gates.
Great profits, low production costs compared to beef etc.
Theyre telling kids in school that "Animal farming, Cow farts are ruining the environment, creating global warming"
scam!
"You'll eat bugs and grass and be happy" ..and they'll be happier with their profit margins.
After hearing about Black rock and Gates and their vested interest in the Ukrainian war for their farm lands , and that they've already got dibs and been promised it..🤨
It all makes sense. Scam.
Recently got my daughter off a 90% veg diet, switched her on meat, great results!
She's more focused, motivated, active and happier, a night and day difference.
They lie about the carbon footprint..etc. grr.. anyways
Rant over .
Thanks Vince👊
Renaissance Periodisation has a great recent video in eating meat and studies.
I wonder if Megan Lee PhD, introduces herself as, 'Megan Lee PhD!'
Thanks for sharing, Vince. Myself, I mainly eat eggses (don't we, Precious?), fish, chicken and meat. And some dairy like heavy cream and cheese.
What a load of crap, a junk food diet is bad for you whether or not it is vegan or vegetarian based. I note you put this disclaimer in about a diet high in processed foods within seconds of talking about this rubbish study. What is a good diet ? a diet high in fresh fruit and vegetables with lots of dietary fiber, that's a fact. Not eating meat etc does not harm you just ask 1.2 Billion Indian's.
No surprise for me..peoples can eat vegan Nutrition perfect for themselves or self destruction in longterm. You made it clear in your Video…as a long years vegan without problems but a good nutrition without beyondfoods….and good supplements should be a good base…to never get depressed 😄
Yes I've heard about other studies that indicate poor mental health associated with a vegan diet. And while it is low quality evidence, there are also many complication videos on YouTube showing some very sad cases. I think people should be cautious with this diet, and perhaps after a year or two hit the meat hard and see what happens. We are all different and so it may suit some people but definitely not all.
As you mentioned Vince those who followed a diets high in fresh fruit, vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes and whole grains were found to be at lower risk of depression compared to other vegan/vegetarians who had more less whole food centered diet. The dash diet encourages the consumption of certain foods and the avoidance of others to help prevent or delay cognitive decline, it focuses on leafy greens, vegetables, nuts, beans, berries, olive oil and whole grains with small amount of wine, poultry or fish. It limits saturated fats, red meat sweets and fried foods as we all agree on so predominately plant based is a good foundation.
We should focus on the relationship between gut bacteria and the gut-brain axis. the good bacteria also produce 90% of the body’s serotonin, the neurotransmitter that regulates mood. Prebiotics come from fibre in your diet. Fibre is the star when it comes to controlling your gut health. Fibre, the non-digestible part of plant foods, ferments in your colon, producing good bacteria. A whole food, plant-based diet is naturally high in fiber. Whole wheat, oats, nuts, greens, beans, lentils, artichokes, cabbage, onions, garlic, leeks, asparagus, and bananas are particularly good prebiotics. Foods that are contradictory to good gut health include inflammatory foods such as animal protein, processed foods, foods containing high fructose corn syrup or artificial sweeteners, foods containing antibiotics, and fried foods.
It would be interesting to understand the health outcomes of a ultra-processed meat based diet. I suspect the causal factor, if there is one at all, in this work is the ultra-processing of food rather than it's vegan/vegetarian nature.
GIGO strikes again! Don't listen to the hype in the advertising. They are ostracized because of their holier-than-thou attitudes.
Processed garbage, well said 😂
I feel great on a mostly vegan diet………besides…animals are friends not food……..
Yo Vince, have you had your genome analysed? I notice you're taking a lot of TMG and vitamin d… My genome report from a guy I trust assured me that due to my glutathione copy number variation I should stop the TMG. Due to another gene I forget he told me to break my vitamin d intake in two. I can connect you if you're interested!
Hello, Vince. I would agree that any diet of processed food is undesirable. Also, if a person adheres to a healthy vegan diet, but finds it unpalatable or unexciting, no doubt that person's mental health will suffer.
I eat a very healthy vegan diet most days, but I am not a vegan. I have meat (usually fish or poultry) at least once a week. I also use Parmesan on pasta and vegetables daily.
As I've mentioned, I have FH (familial hypercholesterolemia) and this has kept it under control.
I am whole food plant based and have experienced a life saving shift in both my physical and mental health after switching from whole food meat based keto many years ago, when I ironically discovered I had a severe B-12 deficiency, so EVERYONE is vulnerable to B-12 deficiency, not just vegans.
This is a fairly biased summary of a less biased research. I suggest that people read the "strengths and limitations" of the cited research. Quotes: "First, the study had a cross-sectional design, and therefore causation cannot be implied", i.e., this is a low quality research that cannot support your assertions; "Finally, in this sample, 93% of the respondents were female; therefore, it may limit the generalisability of interpretation."; "our findings align with the direction of evidence for an association between high quality vegan and vegetarian diets and decreased depressive symptoms."
You can support your health with a b complex and than I think it is plant based organic the most better than meat
isnt impossible burger healthier than beef or would it be healthier to eat 1 burger patty a day
Hi Vince. Thanks.
