I went plant based 1yr ago. I lost 10lbs and still have 5-6lbs to lose to reach my goal weight. I would like to continue this way of eating.
However, the downside of eating more beans and vegetables is my body passed too much wind. It is the awful smelly one which I find very embarrassing. I feel sorry for my husband! 🤣🤣

June 25, 2021, read the reviews on the 21-Day Vegan Kickstart app. There are many complaints about the technical aspects of the app not working correctly. I am going to download it now to check it out. I really want this to work.
Special interests will always produce desired outcomes on food studies. If you listen to all the "experts" out here you'll end up eating nothing at all. A decade ago fats made people fat. Today it's sugar and carbs. Tomorrow it's something else. Doctors with youtube channels promotes fasting and healthy eating while office Doctors promotes whatever big pharma makes. Today moderation is good. Tomorrow there's studies showing it's sometimes bad. It depends on who is selling the book or service.

I'm going to see a nutritionist tomorrow. I'm afraid they aren't going to be in the know about the vegan diet. I've already seen two docs that without ever asking me what I eat for protein (beans and nuts mostly) immediately assumed I was low. And one of them was a weight and wellness doctor! How do I find docs who are educated fully on the vegan diet?

I'm in the middle of those 21 days of transition and I've got the feeling that some things in my life are starting to change: I go to the toilet every single day, I sleep much better, I feel more energetic, I'm not so moody, etc. I'm lucky because I love cooking and it's really important for not to get sick and tired of eating the same things, which are normally the easiest ones to prepare. My daughter has been following a plant based diet for almost three years so she's a kind of personal plant based diet trainer for me! 🤩
Anyway, I hope to succeed in the end in spite of having to fight against the rest of my family who are not willing to stop eating animal protein and for whom I also cook, by the way!

Thanks Cynthia for your reply to my query. I’m of the same mind of thought and practice as you. I enjoy cheese, eggs, etc and want to eat them sometime and do meat every now and then. Your response helped me know there are others like me who don’t want to go full our vegan or vegetarian.
I had chronic LPR for 9 years and following a vegan diet I have reduced throat symptoms by 90% in the first 3 months. It really is incredible. We don't have to hurt animals and we benefit by not doing so! <3
