There is something called "Besan" found in Indian grocery. Its powder of dry split chickpea and can be used to make crepes. Likewise, soaked and ground Moong seeds, or ground moong sprouts can also be used to make savory crepes (called CHEELA like BESAN CHEELA or Moong Cheela) and are great substitute for bread. Look so good….yet, the carbs! My dietician/nutritionist (some people are sensitive about which term!) has be on a lower carb, gluten free ova-veg (had to include eggs again…) diet, and I've been noticing some weight shift again after a very…long…plateau! Any clue how to lower some of the carbs in these yet keep the flavor?

Oh My GOODNESS! These all look so delicious! Holly, do you ever use nutritional yeast in dishes like this? I tend to make my pasta dishes with Nutritional Yeast Flakes by Kal. I'm not much of a cook, at all, but when I can, I do try and toss in some extra nutrition but I don't know how it would taste in dishes like these?
