Vegans seem to think if they say their food is delicious over and over, they can make themselves believe it. All of these dressings are either fat or sugar based. 1. Tahini is full of sesame oil. 2. Maple syrup dressing is just pouring sugar on top of your salad. 3. Balsamic vinegar is also loaded with sugar. 4. Cashews have plenty of oil/fat.
Sometimes I use roasted garlic in place of raw. I will often times use dates or rasins as my sweetener. Soaking cashews 2-4 hours makes a creamier dressing. Soaking, blending and fermenting nuts or seeds to make a nut or seed " yogurts" makes a good base for dressing and to add to shakes/ smoothies. You can find out how to make them if you watch Lou Coronas YouTube videos. Look for almond coconut yogurt. I don't always add the young coconut meat and water that his main recipe calls for. It's yummy tho. I keep it basic: nuts or seeds, water, probiotic, blend, ferment.
A time saving tip is if the dressing does not need to be blended…just add the ingredients into the jar you'll store the dressing in and shake in that jar. Less washing up
Olive oil is a man made oil, tahini has added oil, so for those of us that cant have oil in our diets (l have no gall bladder so any man made oils send me right to the loo both ends) this is a frustrating find. Every dressing has either directly a oil or a ingredient that contains oil. It should be titled Vegan salad dressings! Definitely not oil free.

what are the exact measurements of each ingredient? Thanks
These look so good! I love to make my own dressings too. I'm not a fan of tahini, so could I sub avocado oil for the balsamic dressing?
