Forget counting how many times he says"crisp." Instead, count how many times he says "amazing." Nothing like stating how great your food is going to be. As usual, it reeks with all of the oil he uses.
My family are vegan but i wasn't that great trying to think what to make UNTIL my daughter put me onto you & your channel. The recipes i have tried so far i have been able to recreate easily and the great thing is they have been amazing. Your lasagne has been the most requested dish to make again. I love how relaxed and calm you are & you make it all seem easy not difficult which has been the biggest draw card for me as I don't love cooking but now the feed back is how did I change my cooking from no flavour to chef like gives me the incentive to keep cooking, in fact i have been cooking every day thanks to you.

How can make it without putting it into the oven? Cooking with the pan without burning the coating but still with a good texture and crispy crisp cover.

Oh man it looks delicious, but I feel a bit offended how you serve our traditional "Wiener Schnitzel" π Usialy it comes with either Potatosalat with a mustard, oliveoil, vinegar vinegraite or with fries and mixed green salad π
Do yoh make your own tofu? Doesn't look like that in the US

Thank you for the recipe, I love it! What I do to take it to a knew level is very shortly dip them in tamari right after I take them out of the oven. Theyβre not that crispy adterwards but the taste is to die for! π

I used seitan to make schnitzel
Tonight's #KitchenExperiment was my own take on your Vegan Schnitzel. As we couldn't find chickpea flour we used corn flour mixed with a little water and soya milk. To add some extra flavour I marinated the tofu for a couple of hours in a mix of both sweet and savoury soy sauces, red wine, toasted sesame oil, a drop of lime juice, a drop or two of liquid smoke, and some smoked paprika. To serve it, I sprinkled a little lime juice on them, and put some rocket alongside. It got my hubby's approval π
That schnitzel would go well with katsu curry.
I found your you tube account after looking up 'Vegetarian Schnitzel'. as my husband, who is originally from Germany never liked meat as a child, apart from Schnitzel, and he has been vegetarian for many, many years. Since the start of the Covid19 pandemic, and I have been cooking for us both most nights. i am not vegetarian, but as he doesn't enjoy the smell of animal products cooking I stuck to vegetarian or vegan dishes. I have been spending these last few months looking up new and exciting recipes that we can both enjoy, especially those that are a vegan or vegetarian 'remix' of what is traditionally meat based dish. This is definitely one I will be trying very soon. Thank you for this. P.S. it helps that you seem a nice guy, who is very easy on the eye π lol!

I did not fully submerge the tofu into the oil though. Thank you
