It's not just "process fats". It's fats in general that you have to eat less to lose weight. Process sugar is still sucrose and fruits has sucrose in them. I think you need to be more clear with your wording.

I am obese and I want to do this I think that a combination of the two would also be good for me too. How much can loose each month staying on the High Carb Low Fat diet? I love potatoes, oatmeal, and rice as well veggies, and fruits both fresh and frozen. I am on a budget. I also have bought sunflower seeds and ground flaxseed. For me buying oatmeal, potatoes, and rice along with frozen vegetables, and frozen fruit and big boxes of bananas.

I BELIEVE YOUR RIGHT about HCLF – because I think it is an easier route to go . I just need to commit to seriously getting rid of all processed foods. I'm almost there. So glad I found your videos about this. I think I can do it because I love fruits and Vega – so thank you for the encouragement and in for.

Love anything on eating right.However,word of caution for us type 2diabetics….Fruits contain sugar.Except for berries,we must be careful.And potatoes and rice not good for us.

Great video, you explained things really well! I do have a question though- I’ve been on HCLF for two months, and have not lost any weight. Did you find that when you first transitioned to HCLF, it took a few months for your body to start shedding the pounds?

At about 2:10 you said that “oil is devoid of calories” … pretty sure you meant devoid of nutrients or something like that. Vegetable oils have lots of calories, as you know.
