Thanks so much!! I have adhd so any meals that have mostly shelf stable ingredients are such a help for me :))
Channa masala was the first indian fish I learned to make. I'm indian.
I always have a bottle of lemon juice in my pantry. 😀. As always, these recipes look amazing.
Lovely idea with tahini and lentils! Just wondering, what cookware do you use?
Im transitioning to vegan, its been 3 weeks and im doing good! Im becoming overwhelmed with all these WONDERFUL recipes I hardly can decide what i want to eat! I feel so much joy transitioning. You have totally helped me out the bean recipes! Thank you so much!
Omg the spagetti dish is next level
Onions, garlic and lemons are staples in my pantry as well ☺️
If I wanted to add some frozen veggies to the Chana Masala (cauliflower, carrots, green beens, peas), can I just add them in frozen when you start simmering the chana masala for 20-25 minutes? Or should I cook them a bit first before adding them in?
great recipes, thanks!
Do you buy/use tahini that is salted or not salted? 🌱💚
So sad i didnt had oak milk so i use VANILLA almond milk for the pasta wtf was i thinking! must retry it with oak milk
Trying these!
In terms of chillies and ginger, I have a special Tupperware box in the freezer with my (homegrown) Chillies, ginger, fresh turmeric, and lemongrass. The ginger and turmeric are peeled and sliced in to sections ready for use in a processor for to grate.
It makes them pantry ingredients in my book!
Oh you can do this with sliced lemons and limes also 🙂
Nice tip on removing the chickpea skins.
Youre the BEST vegan you tuber i have found! And I've been trying ALOT.. but it is basically throwing salsa over a bowl. And a lot of the times, that doesn't hit the spot!
So thank you so much for making vegan eating fun and delicious while stilling being doable in my everyday life!!!<3
All your recipes look delicious. Excited to try the last one
I love your recipes!
awesome recipes!!
Just found you. Amazing and yummy!!!
You telling me I could've been adding corn to my basic black beans and rice this whole time!
Bwahaha!!🤣Oh Nisha could you be any funnier, “…add acid at end…not the drug but…lemons so I always keep them on hand.” You are just too damn funny.
I did notice you did a lot of funny things on April 20th (4/20)…not sure if it was this year but I did remark to my husband, “I think Nisha’s stoned, hahahaha. If she is it makes me love her all the more”😉🥰
okay how can someone not find onions and garlic as a pantry staple? I may make my peace with the garlic… but onions?
I had to come back to the comment section to let you know that I tried both the Chana Masala and the Mediterranean Lentil dish and OMG. These are so good! 😭 You have a gift! Whew!!!
Will try the caramelized onion pasta next.
Where did you get the spice rack organizer?? I have been looking for something just like that!! 🙂
Love your cookbook. I. Not happy with my homemade hummus, can you please recommend a good tahini? Thank you!
If you don't have lemons, you could use a small splash of vinegar (preferrably apple cider) to finish off the first dish
Thank you for being a messenger to deliver these gorgeous plant based meals! Together we will, and with humans like you, it will be an easier task.
Much Love!
💙🙏☝️✌
i love your personality/humor (and recipes)
Hi.. Tried the pasta today! turned out really great 🙂 Your recipes are awesome!!
Not acid, the drug? Now I have to go back and get a refund.
I made the Chana Masala on Sunday for dinner. I think my 10 year old daughter ate more than I did. It was so good. My husband was stuffed and he took a big bowl of leftovers for lunch. I left out the serrano pepper and I didn't have the Indian red chili pepper on hand so used cayenne. The only change I would make next time is my can sizes were different, so I could have added another can of chick peas. I am looking forward to making this again. Thank you!
OMG! That Chana Masala is so simple. Thanks so much for demonstrating.
these recipes look incredible — can't wait to try them ALL!
You are an inspiration for all vegans, keep up the good work
👍
The Alison Roman inspired pasta needs the salty garlicy parsley mix! It's the star of the show!
The only challenge I ever have with your recipes is calming myself down to choose one or two at a time instead of all of them at once when you do these multi-recipe videos. Your recipes are just all so so so SO good!
Garlic + onion are definitely pantry staples. For sure. 😎
These look quite easy and i love the ingredients in all, cant wait to make them😍😋
That caramelized onion pasta was an absolute dream lunch! The combination of flavors was sublime. Thank you so much for posting such a delicious recipe – it was definitely a bright spot in our day! 🙂
"I think we can do better than that"
me: looking up from my bowl of rice & beans and salsa straight from the jar
I see chana masala and I go crazy! Thank you for this recipe!!
Thank you
