No they can’t u don’t know shit little girl
This girl is just stupid 😅 she should NOT be a vet!
Great interview. I love how a vegan woman who has been a vet for 16 years already looks so young! That's testament right there.
I agree the v dog kibble are the best save my dog life thank you he is so healthy and active.
Should be animal abuse not feeding your dog meat.
Vegan dog food might be safer than most commercial dog food. But still FEED it fucking meat!!
30 years of vegan pet foods sold…not one recall. says it all. thriving cats dogs ferrets on human grade healthy disease free nutrition.
DOGS ARE NOT OMNIVORES JUST LOOK AT THEIR TEETH. THIS VET IS PROMOTING ANIMAL ABUSE.

This is so stupid. Dogs are not vegan. Stop imposing your political or your own ethics on other animals! You can actually harm a dog or cat by doing this. This is unethical.
Hi there! Can you share Michelles contact info? I went to vegan vet.com and there is no website there. Please help. Thanks
allergic looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool
OMEGALUL
"Veterinarian" yeah right, more like "Vegetarian."
These women obviously know nothing about dogs.
Dogs and cats are meat eaters, the protein that they eat in meat is not the same as protein in plants. Forcing a lifestyle that is not natural to them is selfish and abuse.
If dogs are in the wild they'll eat a rabbit whole, not cook up rice and lentils in a bowl. What a shill.
yes dogs can survive as vegans but humans can also survive on horse shit
BS…they might hang on for a while, but they absolutely will not thrive and will face disease and a shorter life. Stop imposing your nonsense on an innocent animal.
Why are you pushing your ethics on cats and dogs? They don't care about your ethics. If you put down your vegan nonsense next to tuna fish or beef, the cat and dog will naturally go towards the meat. They naturally eat meat. They are built to hunt and eat meat.
Dogs are omnivores, don't force them to be something their not just because it makes you feel better.
With all the euthanasia medications that are showing up, recalls for listeria, salmonella and who knows what else, it would seem better to at least go with a vegetarian/vegan commercial food.
JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE A VEGAN DOESN'T MEAN YOUR PET HAS TO FOLLOW YOUR LIFESTYLE
Just because they can survive on plant matter doesn't mean that it's healthy.
Nope this is all wrong, trust this vet instead:

I very strongly disagree with feeding dogs and especially cats a vegan diet. Cats are obligate carnivores. They need meat to thrive. Can dogs survive on a raw diet? Sure. Is it a biologically appropriate diet? Absolutely not. Neither is kibble. My dogs eat a home prepared raw diet. If you want to impose your vegan diet and beliefs on pets, please choose pets for whom a vegan diet is healthy. I suggest rabbits.
Vegans shouldn't be allowed to become vets.
Great video but why shoot it in such a noisy location? Almost hard to hear…
Are pulses really safe to feed?
good video. I have vegan dogs and like thousands of other vegan dogs and cats they thrive on vegan food.
I swear hardcore vegans will eventually force lions and tigers to eat vegtables because some sketchy vegan website full of pornhub ads told them so.
Then just feed your dogs premium cuts.
Also to "synthetically" add somthing into a vegan food seems unatural.
My rescue poodle has been entirely plant-based for over 2 years. His health has actually improved on these formulas:Nature's Recipe Vegetarian Stew, and Natural Balance Vegan Formula, plus vegan kibble from both companies. He also enjoys peas, potatoes, and other plant foods.
I like how she's bagging commercial pet foods because they're full of chemicals and preservatives and doesn't say anything about the commercial vegan dog food….that's full of the same crap. Also dogs can eat meat that has been rotting for several days and will be fine because they have evolved different gut bacteria to us…so parts of animals considered 'unfit' for human consumption are not going to hurt a dog…and atleast it's not wasting parts of the slaughtered animal.
this vet should be strung up, dogs and cats are carnivores, their digestive systems are geared to eat meat.
sure, they can live a long time on a well balanced diet, that doesn't mean it's good for them.
it's not, they are meant to eat meat, they evolved to eat meat.
you can supplement plenty of vegetables, but dogs and cats are not herbivores.
don't kid yourself, don't fool yourself, don't torture your pets. (or your kids)
some dogs love vegetables, my dog used to eat a head of lettuce every night, loved all veggies too…my newer dogs are just plain meat eaters. Eggs is another choice. Cottage
cheese is good. Sweet potato ….she is right about contaminated dog food on the market, they use road kill and murdered animals from the shelters cooked up in vats.
horrible…
whatever you do please do not support the pork industry they are abusers of pigs beyond anything you can imagine
I wonder how she graduated.
Wow – I'm stunned to hear a vet recommend a vegan/vegetarian diet for a dog. Dogs are carnivores NOT omnivores. Kinda scary that a vet who graduated from UC Davis wouldn't know this. As a carnivore, you can NOT create a balanced diet w/out feeding animal meat – animal protein is NOT the same, nor does it digest the same, as plant protein. While the dog may not immediately show signs of problems (as dogs are an especially resilient species), over time, that dog will develop a myriad of health issues and will likely die much sooner than a dog who is fed the way nature intended for it to eat. I'm truly stunned and saddened to hear a vet is so misguided.
Why the hell to keep carnivore pets anyway. There are many interesting herbivores.
Great Interview.
