I have just hit 330x1x5 for deadlift at the end of my training routine today, having lifted seriously for less than 4 months having started at 155, and my only recent athletic endeavor being fucking around in the gym following no program. I have not been injured at all in my training and I have already surpassed a guy who has been training and making “informational” videos on training for probably over a decade.
My rebuttal to veganism is this, animals eat other animals so then; why should humans (who are superior to animals) not eat meat. As humans should have more rights than animals, that includes the right to eat meat.

I searched vegan gain deadlift video since I never seen it, I see he posted a sumo deadlifts video 2 weeks ago, I don't know if it's the same one you are talking about. But based on what I see in his video, his lock out was incomplete, he had soft knees and hip lock out looks weak as well. Just not fully locked out overall. I also found his 405 lbs conventional deadlift video from 2 years ago, his hips were set super high when he initiated his rep, it was literally leveled with his shoulders and it was more like stiff leg deadlifts rather than conventional. If he were to compete in powerlifting he would always get red lights by the judges, just saying.
if i may ask jason how can a vegan not be an athlete but what about Nimai Delgado? Yes he was vegetarian but had switched over to a vegan diet and is a bodybuilder
