Lols! love the snark! and so many fun things to share with friends over coffee. For walking, some coaches say "junk miles" – like miles you are walking without a training plan. I am happy to hear it's just total steps because walking is a guilty pleasure. And the turtle waist comment … it's going to be hard to unlearn and unsee it. you see ton of that everyone. (I do like Pinterest for exercise ideas. but I will stick to the tried & true exercises, like the ones in Overhaul, for strong results).
I swear by walking. It is easy and therefore it requires little motivation. It can be fun, you can go for a walk with somebody else, have a conversation over the phone, listen to podcasts or music. And it also doesnβt increase hunger to much, making it a useful tool for weight loss.
