Sourdough doesn’t have to be this complicated if you don’t want it to be. There are many simple recipes out there if you find this to be too much. It took me a long time to figure this out.

I love that you didn't edit out when you stumbled on words, and I love that you either don't put music in your videos, or you use quiet, calming music if you do. Your videos are the most real, beautiful, calming videos and I'm obsessed.
The book I use is "Artisan Sourdough Made Simple" and its true to its title. Its a way more simplified and hands-off way of making sourdough so its way more convenient (its less "traditional" but I've been using it for 5 years and I love it)

Make sure to slice and freeze bread, so it doesn’t go stale! It’s been a game changer for homemade sourdough

yesterday I baked sourdough bagels, they are getting better and better eachtime but the shape stays wonky… which I don't mind as they are home made so they are allowed to look rustic… and I totally agree the everything but the bagel spicy is everything 😅.
I always wonder if people watch cooking vlog type videos like this to learn how to cook better, or if people mostly watch them for the same reasons I do, which is to live vicariously through them and wish I could cook food that good and eat such amazing home cooked meals

Ah yes, the humble sandwich… Immy, your sandwiches have such flair… just like you, they’re elegant and creative!! Sandwich making and cookie baking are two of my favourite childhood kitchen memories. A sandwich is one food that all humankind has in common. You don’t even need cutlery or a plate… just some type of bread and some tasty fillings… and maybe a cookie and a cup of coffee to follow.
