I feel like the one mistake I did when first going vegan was that I didnt give my body enough time to get used to the amount of FIBRE that is in a vegan diet, so I had alot of SMELLY FARTS (haha) and some pain in my tummy… so I should have switched more SLOWLY… I had hardly ever eaten beans or lentils, so it was quite a change, which I did over 3-4 months… but somehow, I needed more time, maybe almost a year would have been good. GIVE CHANGES TIME! 🙂 Im OK now but it wasnt fun then.

For me it may be the salt with iodine that causes my flatulence. I try using less of it, but I like it for flavor.

I went to the bathroom 4 times in one day. It makes me feel like the little horse that eat all day and never gained weight because he crapped out more then he ate.

What worked for me finally is so simple. Drink water, drink lots , I mean LOTS of water, with meals and between meals, we fart sometimes because fiber requires water to be
digested, believe me, is what works best
If chewing helps, what if you ground the beans ie like mushy peas?
I sprout beans for 3 days..then cook. No problems. But the broccoli…now thats a bit more challenging
I've been 100% plant based for 2 years now. I get ridiculously gassy when I eat high starchy and high protein foods together. So chickpeas and tofu together, I would steer clear of me. If I eat starchy and simple sugars(fruits) together, steer clear of me. I have to eat all these separate in order to avoid poisoning the air.

B. I’ve been vegan for over a year and I still fart and bloat like crazy 💨Tofu is a bean it’s the processed form of a soybean. Lentils are beans too.
Take turmeric+blk pepper. Ginger too.
Have always soaked my pintos till they sprout that tail, rinse but still Super gassssss.
Moved onto lentils. I get less gassy but still burp and fart all day and if im in a no fart zone (society norms) then damn; im just a bloated up bomb feeling shittier eating a vegan home made foodstuff than when I ate the hot pockets and drank the monsters on one big meal a day.
My numbers are better now that im vegan but I guess my detox is taking a whole lot longer than your 6-8wks.
Plus I add cilantro to most meals and started taking holy basil.

I haven't eaten any beans and I can't stopped farting. I stop going vegan over the week and farts stopped. But I wasn't regular. Stopped eating meat again and I haven't stopped farting. I've been on a vegan diet for nearly 2 years.

Definitely soaking legumes,preferable 48 hours and changing for clean water every 12 hours. This makes a huge difference. Also we get more nutrients absorbed into our body.🙏🙏🌱🌱🌱
