I just love how simpletons quickly look up these biased studies without any substantial insight or background knowledge on veganism in an attempt to gain the upperhand on forum discussions
More reasons to not be vegan lol, thanks for the clout bro……
Just got a wonderful ad for cheddar quakers. Really?
👏👏👏👏👏👏💚💚💚💚
The Aran Islands are off the coast of Ireland. Not the UK
I have two questions, and I can't seem to find an answer. First, if we get rid of live stock use can't that A)put farmers out of business and B) fuck up the soil, since dung and grazing help things grow? I heard a lot of artificial fertilizers leach off chemicals too. And second if we were to stop killing animals for food, would they have worse deaths in the wild, being eaten alive or starve to death? I would like to hear a vegans input. These are the only reasons I'm not vegan, but I really want to be. Thanks.
I do not want to write too much but I can't believe am cured of herpes permanent after many different attempt Dr.Obela on YouTube..
How tf does a dairy friendly vegetarian diet feed more people than omnivore? The only difference here is that a dairy friendly vegetarian doesn't eat the cow that produces the dairy, which is hundreds of pounds of wasted calories per animal.
There are flaws about growing rye, millet etc in dry lands that are supposed to not be arable lands…
1) Our crops are monocrops and reduce biodiversity.
Grassland is better: diverse in plants, animals and soil life.
2) Non arable lands are also stony or steep.
3) Mechanical agriculture without animals reduces organic matter and erode soils.
4) If you grow crops with wild life around, it increases the number of wild animals that have to be killed. In pastures, it does not matter.
Tough, animals do sustain the lands 🙂 Which is why vegan diet might not work without animals living in the crops to maintain life in it…
Some of the benefits of veganism you point out are, of course, also related to vegetarianism and a diet with little meat and more plants. This means that vegetarianism and a little meat diet can probably still feed more people than veganism.
Vegans are mentally ill. 🙄
Vegan diet isn't just a "land user" diet, it is a "nutrition loser" diet. A piece of liver makes any vegetable out there look like eating a piece of styrofoam in comparison.
This guy will continue to be non-human.
Open your eyes! Hes not human!
A lot of the critique is well warranted, some of it is not (particularly the part about forests. It's incredibly difficult to have a volume production of plant foods in a forest without… Well removing the forest, which isn't really the best idea). This world needs a lot less meat consumption, and the meat that is consumed needs to change in its' nature. Otherwise the Amazon (and many other places) will just continue to burn, burn, burn.

Media and animal product industry are so shameless.
OK NOW ,,, THAT VIDEO WAS FKIN AWESOME,,, FINALLY something i find INSANELY IMPOrtant TO FINALLY HEAR,, so much crap and respond to other assholes crap,, tho this one i wanted to hear badly some i couldnt answer,, tho majority of people are so dumb they dont even think about mentioning any of those they just believe me or dont care

>Forest Farming
Oh this is rich, we're still gonna kill animals, only this time it will be on self defense when those bears start fighting for their berries or those wolves for their territory 😂
Man, Mic, you really don't miss a beat. Nicely done.
2:30 Full biais here: to get the same amount of calories vegans need MORE cropland than omni to compensate for the animal products.
Or are vegan using less land because… they are less and they eat less calories?
The rest is pure speculation: when data goes with your way you use them raw. When they don't you make them up. Any soil can be cultivated, it just a question of efficiency. Growing on mountainsides is inefficient. You don't consider the economical nor environmental cost of putting into cultivation more non arable land: it's considerable and useless.
You don't save the planet, you save your right to feel superior by making unsustainable ethical choices.
What about if all that non cultivatable grazing land which we would no longer need in a vegan world was allowed to go back to forest. This would also be extremely beneficial to the planet and hey it may even reverse global warming
Aran Islands is off the coast of Ireland not the U.K
I think he forgot this..
Plants are said to be non sentinel beings by vegans. They do not have a central nervous system. But science says that plants have a alternative electrical pulse based nervous system. When grass is cut, you get that freshly cut grass smell, thats actually a distress signal.
Regardless of pain…plants want to live. Vegans choose their own life over plants everyday. Imagine a human or animal lost the ability to feel pain as there is such a disease, do you now have the right to eat that human or animal now?
What if a human being is in vegitative state, is it ok to eat them now? So why is it now ok for vegans to eat plants. Are they murderers now?
Meat eaters or vegan, you choose your own life over a animal or plant. The environment would do better if we all ate moderately. The people of the past were not obesed but ate meat and were healthy because they ate meat and veg in moderation. Just because I can eat meat or vegitables, does not mean I have to eat all the meat and veg in the world. Veganism distracts from the actual problem of greed and excess habit that the world is into. Look at the desertification of spain, the farming and excessive holidaying is causing majority of it to becoming a desert.
Whether your meat of veg, you both are not morally superior to another. I know vegans have good intentions but its misplaced guilt.
The western world has 80% of the world food while the remaining 6 or 7 billion in the rest of the world relies on the 20%. Share you food out to the poor, do not waste good food and think of others, will solve poverty in the world. I myself get my left overs put in a box and give to persons on the street. Least someone will benefit. Veganism is not the answer.

Love your work @micthevegan, thanks so much for putting this together. Would you be ok for me to reuse your presentation info here and adapt it for an Australian version? The meat and livestock industry here is really pushing all the cherry picked arguments you have refuted so well here.
Many thanks for ALL of your educational videos. Kudos to your commitment to this highly urgent and necessary information.
Give back 4/5 of land to indigenous people, what was stolen for animal agriculture! GO VEGAN!
