When you eat at Twisted Plants, it’s easy to forget your food is vegan. The Twisted menu of burger and fries, Chicago dawgs, “chik’n” nuggets and more is just that indulgent and satisfying.
Owners Arielle and Brandon Hawthorne started their plant-based business as a food truck, opening their Cudahy restaurant (4905 S. Packard Ave.) in spring 2020. We were all reeling during lockdown and Twisted Plants brought comfort. It still does.
Now the Hawthornes are bringing their concept to the East Side (1233 N. Brady St.). This new location opens to the public on Tuesday, June 7.
