My flax psyllium husk is very very fine but still turns purple I think it depends on the type of flax plant used there may be several varieties ..mine comes from Amazon, country of origin is India.

Purple flatbread could be because people are trying to substitute Metamucil psyllium for psyllium husk powder. It is not the same and will turn food purple
Maybe you could add Xanthan Gum to help form the dough if you like?
It’s turns purple not because of how fine psyllium husk powder is, but because of the brand, the source of it. For example: organic powder from Seven Hills is white/grayish, from NKD is purple.

wow ! these almost remind me of my grannys crackers ^^ except none of the ingredients are the same haha, but I would love to recreate the ones from my childhood and what I do distinctly remember is the glossy upper side with roasted sessame seeds on top! the gloss came from brushing them with egg whites and I'm curious to see if I could use the flaxseed liquid to do the same, perhaps ? I'll let you know how it turned out but these look great and I can totally take them with me camping ! 😀

Hi Fan, I made the crackers and indeed are delicious and crisp. But I suspected, I had problems with my stomach. Flax does not seem to agree with me. Maybe is the combination of flax and a medication I take for my bowels. I am sad because the crackers are very tasty.

Just wanted to share.. I tried keto 2- 3 times for 2-3 weeks but I couldn't keep it up due to family gatherings, functions and also bcoz I found it too restrictive as I am vegan…
I was about to give up on keto finally once and for all.. and decided I will never try it again.. I even searched articlea about the negative effects of keto to make up my mind..
But then… I found ur recepie of 1 gm net card vegan bread.. and I don't know…

I would like to learn more about black salt. I have asked my local health food store to get a good one. From what ive seen…some can just be simply activated charcoal and salt ? Id imagine there is a real black salt with high minerals…?
