I made this today, but I tweaked the recipe just a bit:
I threw in a small handful of raisins- like 1/2 a cup.
For the topping, once everything was mixed, I added 2 tsp of apple cider vinegar and 2 tsp of water to make it clump up a bit.
When I baked it, I covered the dish with foil for 20 minutes and then took it off for the final 20 minutes. (I have a convection oven and so it cooks faster than a traditional oven.)
For those living in Europe (like me) I set the oven to 176ยฐC

I thought it was so cute in the end when she was sampling the apple crisp. she should be the spokesperson for looking natural. her reaction to the food was so genuine and how good it tasted. she made me want to make some for myself. currently, I have a serious weight problem and I am looking to change to plant-based eating. I don't even know where to start. my palate needs to change in a great way and that is going to be very difficult because I eat out pretty much exclusively. i believe that this would be a good way to eat. it's not vegetarian, but it's whole foods plant-based which I feel is a great way to eat that would be the most healthy. but anyway I thought she was so cute at the end. you could tell she just loved it and it made me want to make it.
Great video! How do you clean the wax coating on the apples? I know that the peel has fiber, but I can't find a way to get rid of the wax completely. Do you have a video about how to desinfect produce? Thanks for shearing your knowledge.

I love this recipe! I've been trying to figure out how to do this oil and sugar free. Thank you! A warning though! Some apples taste disgusting when cooked, so do be prepared for that. I've had to feed our chickens quite a few apple crisps because my family hated it. Happy chickens, but sad me. ๐ I will be more careful on which apples I use for baking.

I've been using dates to sweeten everything and I'm obsessed- they really are nature's candy!
