I like it very much. I have all the necessary ingredients at home. Make it tomorrow. 8 want to tell you. I like most of your recipies. They are easy, healthy and tasty.
Looks luscious
Great recipe – for the healthier version – eliminate the oil as it provides no nutritional benefit at all – only calories & helps to clog your arteries.
Excellent instructions
I added some yellow curry powder in with the oil and onion and it really amplified the curry π π
Will do this dish!! Yum

Where is curry?
Do you eat it with rice or as is?
Looks yummy! I would make without oil esp olive oil as it has low flash point aka rancid at high heat. Love healthy low fat Indian food π₯ π
Your presention makes it easy to follow ~ thank you. Could you please say what the pan is that you are using
Thank you
Well – I've got this thing simmering on the stove. All I had to buy was the garlic and ginger and the split red lentils. (I use a lot of these to make lentil flatbreads so it's not surprising I was out!). I make my own tomato puree with onions and green peppers and basil. I haven't tasted it yet but it smells wonderful !
I love butternut!
This was lovely, I added a bit more water and made a kinda soup out of it. Very nice on a rainy day
Another winning recipe from Food Impromptu! She makes cooking and eating vegan very easy to achieve. And her lovely accent is a bonus!

I made this last night for the first time and it was so good. Thanks for this!!!
Looks delicious,will try to prepare.Thanks .
Generally olive oil does not go with Indian cooking, but I'll give it a go anyway.
Ty will try tonight π
πππhi can use toor dhal or moong dhal instead of red dhal?
Thank you.
I love this dish and have made it similar to you for years without oil. Your videos are a visual feast, thank you.
This is Indian staple dish… soaking should not be skipped . Instead of squash you can add similar sized chopped and peeled Bottle Gourd it wil not taste sweet as it might because of using pumpkin. And please do give credits(name the country- India) from where you have learnt the idea of this dish from your YouTube channels contains all Indian dish ideas just changed the ingredients but nowhere mentioned the name of the country. You seem to be doing good work by giving ideas of vegan cooking to the western world people. India has been doing Vegan Cooking for Ages. It is called Dal Tadka in India of simply Dal . We make dal using various kinds of combination of lentil. Lentil + Rice gives you all of the essential amino acids required for the human body . Giving Tadka/ Tempering your Daal/Lentil Soup is important for assimilation of Fat Soluble Vitamins present in the Lentil in your body.
Looks lovely π, i must male this soon. Thanks for sharing. π»
Thank you for this recipe. I made it last night. Also froze some of it. It came out very nice. Very delicious. I couldn't resist, even though it was past my eating time, I had to taste it. I had it with 1/2 a nann and it went very well with the curry. The only change I made to your recipe is I put in fresh tomatoes because I did not have any tomato puree. It still came out very well. Thank you. I like your down to earth delivery, no fancy talk and delivery that most people wouldn't understand. People trying to be stylish and talking over the heads of people who just want to taste delicious meals. I have traveled all over the world and tasted most types of food from different countries. It doesn't matter what you say and how you say it, the bottom line is taste, So thank you for your delivery and your wonderful tasting food. Look forward to tasting some more of your recipes.
Thank you for the recipe! I had to empty my fridge so I used baked butternut squash and peas and also added two table spoons of vegan cream to make it more creamy. It was delish!
Amazing just had a bowl thank you for sharing
