Vegetarians aren’t the only people who want to maximize dietary protein. How can we get the most protein from plants?

Oatly? Duuhh
B12 is from bacteria found in water and soil. We gave up that when we decided to treat water and wash our hands. Animals that we eat are supplemented with b12. So we can easily just supplement it ourselves. Go vegan and stop torturing and killing our animal family. They give us their trust and we betray them.
Yes, you can't get B12 without a supplement, but if you compare what supplements whole food plant based eaters need with those who eat other diets, B12 and D are about it, while quite a few other supplements are often needed in a SAD diet.
By relying HEAVILY ON TRANSPORTATION FACTORIES AND MASS WATER USAGE.
i can literally walk down the road to a local farm shop, get fresh natural beef and be home cooking it within 20 minutes.
They have to say that, still sell egg and meat :))
Yeast isn’t an animal doctor Seres. Lol who hired these people
String beans are legumes doctor
Hey Doc, Here's a list of Vegetables rich in B12. Never too late to learn something new: Artichokes, Arugula, Balsam-pear , AsGourd (popular in India—vegetarian culture for millennia), Beets, Cabbage, chinese (pak-choi), Cauliflower, Celery.
Protein bars are not meal supplements
The Bengal gram which is basically a black chickpea is A great source of Vegan protein 100g of the chickpea can get you 20-22 g of protein as well as its pocket friendly .. One of The best Vegan source available ATM
B12 is not produced by animals, it's produced by bacteria.
The doctor misspoke regarding vitamin B12. From ‘Vitamin B12 sources and microbial interaction,’ by Fumio Watanabe and Tomohiro Bito:
“Vitamin B12 is synthesized only by certain bacteria and archaeon, but not by plants. The synthesized vitamin B12 is transferred and accumulates in animal tissues, which can occur in certain plant and mushroom species through microbial interaction. In particular, the meat and milk of herbivorous ruminant animals (e.g. cattle and sheep) are good sources of vitamin B12 for humans. Ruminants acquire vitamin B12, which is considered an essential nutrient, through a symbiotic relationship with the bacteria present in their stomachs. In aquatic environments, most phytoplankton acquire vitamin B12 through a symbiotic relationship with bacteria, and they become food for larval fish and bivalves.”
Vitamin B12 supplements are cheap, readily available, and vegan. No problem with that for vegan diets.
Oh my Gosh, those women are next to hot 😍
“The Mayans we’re so successful because they are rice and beans”…..you do realize rice wasn’t introduced to the Americas until hundreds of years after the Mayan civilizations had fallen
Isn’t it that the animal Vitamin B12 is injected by humans ? And vegetarians can get enough from nutritional yeast
He doesn’t even know where B12 comes from
These kind of shows are the reason why there's so many mislead people out there! When you eliminate all animal products from your diet your body utilises the nutrients from carbs and vegetables more efficiently and complete health is immediately restored! You don't feel tired and it is not difficult to find protein at all! As long as you are eating beans legumes wholegrain carbs pasta rice potato all these starchy carbs and vegetables including mushroom which have B12 you will feel amazing! Fit strong and healthy. B12 is more to do with the fact that we just don't live with bacteria in the same way that we use to when we were in the wild so to be safe you should take a b12 supplement and that's it! Eating animal fats make you sick in a multitude of different ways. Building muscle on a vegan diet is easy getting all your protein is easy there's nothing difficult about a vegan diet at all. On the contrary,if you eat anything but a vegan diet you actually make things worse coz you take in to much fat and this fills all of your arteries with fat and stops glucose getting in to the cell which is why people think veganism is not a nutritional way to eat.
0:55 – lol that's not recommended amount, that is a MINIMUM amount
I love this video so much!!! Everything you do is amazing! What is your opinion about supplementation? As a vegan, I have always been concerned about not getting enough nutrients. As I did not find a sustainable supplement brand for vegans I created my own, Terraseed. 😉 I would love to hear your opinion about supplementation! Thanks
The notion about B12 is incorrect. Please check for yourself where B12 comes from and why it is in meat but not only.
Yeast isn't an animal brother, it's a Fungus…

Why people get hooked on red meat is a serious study. Some of this may be the nature of meat as a complete protein. The list of amino acids in foods apparently goes beyond just 9 essential amino s. Is foods such as chicken, rabbit, and fish failing to compete with the protein available with red meat animals (red meat animals would be Grazing animals and pigs)?
Can the protein and Vitamin B12 available from eating insects compete with eating any other meat?
A small tub of fatfree cultured Yogurt appears to have around 50 grams of protein. Some are also claiming that the Vitamin B12 in yogurt is easily assimilated.
Some are saying that there is some hope for Vitamin B12 from fermented rice and whole grain Sourdough-bread. Otherwise vegans are left with industrially produced Vitamin B12 supplements.
Chickpeas, lentils, chia seeds, peanuts, and quinoa are all said to be very high in protein.
Of course, women and children need adequate daily nutrition. A special Frugal diet or Fasting is a private choice for adults.
Potatoes are said to be a complete protein though very starchy. Rice, wheat, and corn do have a significant amount of amino acids. Mushrooms are said to have a great amount of amino acids though it may take consuming 100 mushrooms to get near 50 grams of protein. Nutritional yeast is a complete protein. Tempeh is probably getting at a complete protein. Moringa is said to have a great range of aminos.
Thank you for sharing informative and helpful video!
There are so many problems with this video, it's unreal.

We are all subject to the same propaganda here in the US that vegetables are the healthiest food you can eat and meat causes heart disease and cancer…never mind the fact that humans have been eating a mostly meat based diet since we have been humans..
Vegetarians cannot get enough protein, period. Protein comes from meat, and supplements won't work forever. The human body needs meat to get it's fat and protein from.
Vegetarians don't get nearly enough nutrition, but since they are usually dogmatic about their incorrect belief about the nutrition of vegetables, it they avoid meat to much they just get skinny, lose muscle and become sickly looking, or non robust.
Just look at Peter Frampton. Or Charlie Watts. They have no muscle to speak of.
Eat meat and protein for good health just like our ancestors did.
Probase Nutrition has some of the best vegan/vegetarian protein powders and superfood powders.
Ive read that B12 comes from soil.. Animals eat grass and ingest unwashed vegetation. That is how animals get B12 in their system. Which is still minimal. Everyone should take B12 supplements
