I'm literally about to start making them now. Just got back from the shops, and have the laptop hooked up to the tv and watching while I'm making! haha 🙂
I want to try making these for a friends birthday party tomorrow… but I'm going to try rollng them so they have a little bit of JELLY / strawberry jam inside the ball ! Because then it can be peanut butter jelly time! 😀 If it doesn't sit inside the ball properly, I'm going to try simply mixing the jelly into the mixture. Actually, maybe I could use it as part of the 'sweetener'. 🙂
Oh, i saw the post about rolling them in coconut. That sounds really good. I may have to try it! Plus adding cocoa powder sounds good too. Really good recipe. Thank you for posting it.
so your vegan? how cool i can do this simple snacks i hqve a few vegetarian and vegan friends. stress me out to find snqcks in my house for them or get them budget friendly snacks. this few things you shared i can be reqdy for them next time lol.
Ummm Ummm… love peanut butter and chocolate combination. I usually keep these in the refrigerator… then when I get a snack attack, I can pop one into my mouth, and instant satisfaction… besides that, the rolled oats make them quite chewy, so they last in the mouth for quite a while. ( I mean as opposed to just melting quickly away.)
Those do look yummy. Your idea about freezing them and dipping them into melted chocolate sounds absolutely delicious. Peanut butter and chocolate is my favorite combination. 🙂
Yes, quick oats is fine! OMGoodness.. when we were children, growing up in the country, no where near any stores, we used to snack on raw oats as a snack! lol

Yes, soaked dates are fine to use as well… I don't particularly like the taste of dates but for the sweetening aspect, they are excellent.
