I wear prescription glasses and was having a ton of eye strain issues so I got my eye doctor to prescribe "computer glasses". They are a slightly different prescription that optimizes for the distance from your eyes of a computer monitor, and also include blue light filtering. They seriously make a huge different, I go from squinting to feeling like my eyes are wearing a comfy robe. If that makes any sense at all. Other things that help are turning off bright overhead lights to reduce lighting in the room, and I use "dark mode" for all of my programs – outlook/email, onenote, matlab, notepad, python, etc. I am a programmer so I can do it uniformly but I know its not that helpful for video editing!
For body strain, I've found the trick for using a standing desk effectively is to get one that converts easily and to set a time and stand for 15 minutes for every hour. The change in position really really helps and you don't get too tire like if you are trying to stand continuously
I've loved/watched your videos since I was interested in veganism in 2014. I understand the Ramen is high protein and probably better quality ingredients…but the price on the website is not affordable for the average person. Could truly make a better ramen for a cheaper price! Js
Caitlin, 890 milligrams of sodium isn't a selling point. Look, I know it's better than a lot of the crap out there but it's high oil, high sodium and processed. So selling it based on flavor while recognizing that it isn't a health food would be better. I love your videos. Been watching for years and you have really helped me. Thanks so much!
🤣 cussing out Dave hahhaha. And thanks for the zen moment at the end!
Lovely video Caitlin. I always reach for a good coffee in the mornings too. Re the screen working – I keep a cup of water handy and sip throughout the day (and plenty of screen breaks)! Loving the tasty and nourishing meals you shared here. Have a great day. Best wishes, Reeta's Soul Food
A quick afternoon yoga flow and a second cup of coffee afterwards usually does the trick for me when I work at my desk all day. Also lots of water and airing out the room multiple times. Maybe you could also try blue light filtering glasses?
honestly blue light glasses have been a life saver for me. it cuts the harshness of the screens. They help me with eye strain and headaches
😂 Dylan is so funny
“*cat name*! What the F do you think you’re doing?!!!” Said every cat owner ever 😂😂😂 I love that your cats name is Dave. Mine is Dylan!!! I love people names for cats. They’re practically people anyway
Get your eyes checked girl! The tired when driving is a sign you may need glasses. Also get a blue screen filter for your screen if you don't already have one and use the blue screen filter on your phone. Love you girl!
5:38 This ramen actually sounds so so good! Not going to lie – I have never had packaged noodles but leveled up with all the toppings these looked spectacular!
0:17 Your morning drinks always make me smile – your collection of handmade mugs is just so so beautiful! Each and every one of them is super unique and simply beautiful! Plus, it is so cool to support artists creating such timeless and useful objects!
I have a ton of computer work for school right now. I like to set timers on my phone for work/break. Some days I'll do 45min of work 30 min break. Some days I'll do 2 hours of work 10 min break.
Just depends on my mood, if I need to do house chores during the breaks, and if I have any deadlines that day. Having that set time to get up, stretch, & pet my dogs, keeps my mood more stabilized. Still always tired though. 😆
That Ramen looked so good! 🔥
Ok…..but the 6 pack of Ramen is $39!!!!!
That little snippet of you and Dylan at 6:28 was the most precious thing just about ever. Also love the recipes as always!
