Me too! Same story <3
Thank goodness for Charlie! excess cheese did it for me, didn't have IBS but gall bladder problems. I had naturally just gone off dead flesh anyway so dairy was the last thing to go, very hard for a cheese lover but quite honestly I felt a sense of relief to let go, no more health problems. I'm 70, not on any medication whatsoever. The only problem is a social one, people can be quite vicious when they twig that I'm not only veggie but totally plant based. My oldest friend's remark was 'Oh that's going too far!', and takes a swipe at the subject now and again.
Glory to Almighty God after many years I finally found joy with the help of Dr. Agboya on YouTube, the great herbalist doctor helped me to cure my Herpes 2, with the herbal medicine product that I ordered. I will always be grateful to Dr. Agboya on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCL_ksbGrUL6rQ14jtaTmhIQ/videos💃
My gut health has improved since I became vegan ( I had some irritated bowels ), my cousin wasn't as lucky as diagnosed with Crohn's illness. I gave them my recommendations to help him, they trusted official medicine. His health has deteriorated and he had to undergo surgery to remove his big bowel
I'm vegan for animals but I've seen my uncle heal..
Worked for me me as well. On a wfpb diet I am on remission without medication.
My story is almost exactly the same, apart from I got sick after university, and it was 10 years before I met my vegan girlfriend, and made the full transition. Was raised vegetarian so was always aware of the meat industry horrors, but oblivious to the dairy and egg industry horrors. Now 100% medication free for 2+ years, after a decade of having 10+ medications per day. Boom!
so glad for her!
When I was diagnosed with IBS, my doctor at the time told me that I probably shouldn't be vegan and recommended me the FODMAP diet, as if types of dairy and meats were gonna cure my horrible constant pain symptoms lol…anyway, I'd been vegan for 5 years already prior and definitely wasn't gonna let his advice revert that. My IBS turned out to be mental related. I've been working on my stress/mental state and it's basically all gone away. Even if yours isn't mental, don't always assume that a recommended diet by a doctor is going to help, especially if they are not versed in vegan diets, they wouldn't know how to recommend that or even believe it would help, if they themselves are not familiar with it
Really happy for you but why not have tried gluten free first? It would take 3-6 months or more to feel better.
I want to say a big thanks to God for giving me a second chance in life through Dr Alaho Olu on YouTube who cured me from Herpes with his herbal remedies, he has really proven to be a real doc. Contact him today and be cured too..
Water and gasoline don't mix
Thanks for posting my husband has had a similar path as you except he unfortunately had his colon removed and many years later his J pouch failed- he now lives with an ileostomy. We both know things could have been very different for him and lots of pain and suffering could have been avoided if he had only known about diet and lifestyle changes. Spread the word, save others! 🥰🥲
A vegan diet put my ulcerated colitis into remission, or cured it completely!
I agree with everything she’s saying but what I most agree with is that T-shirt. 😂
My health issues have gone after I became vegan
I could go well over week or more bfore I open my bowels I do have I bs.went vegan for a week couldn’t believe it I started going twice a day what difference
Thanks to Dr Alaho Olu on YouTube who cured me and my wife from Herpes, he also have cure for HPV, FIBROID, COLDSORES.
Have you ever thought about trying Indian food? Trust me you will go crazy with the umpteen vegan/ vegetarian ( with a strong possibility of turning it into a vegan option ) options available in it. Do give it a shot. 👍🏼🙂
Thank you for sharing your story. I'm glad you feel better.
Stop saying veganism when you mean pb diet.
When I became vegan ten years ago, my IBS reversed. I wish I was born and raised plant-based.
OMG, long winded with no information……
I have Crohn’s. I went on a plant based diet in 2014. Still going strong. My disease has been so much better since eating this way. But I definitely need to stay away from too much processed vegan foods. It causes flare ups from time to time. This is just a warning for anyone in the midst of switching to this lifestyle in order to heal themselves. WFPB (whole food plant based) is always going to work better than junk food vegan. It’s a slippery slope for those of us with food addictions however. Beware, but you are on the right path! 😃✌🏻
I also had this, and followed Dr Greger 's advice and ate chili powder. It's cleared up, I also eat a whole food plant based diet.
I don't have significant gut issues. But before going vegan I started a pescovegetarian diet. Everything was going well, till I decided to eat red meat at a friend's barbecue (whom happened to be keto). I'd horrible diarrheia. Few weeks later, I ate an In'n'Out burger and same diarrheia. Remember, I'd eaten meat on a daily basis ALL my life prior to switching my diet, especially as a bodybuilder. That goes to say that our body gets used to bad things, but as soon as you remove them, the damage source becomes obvious. Now as a vegan, I can't even think about animal foods without feeling nauseous. Biggest regret: not having the courage to make the decision sooner.
I have suffered with UC for a long time. I watched Game Changers and decided to go plant based due to the reduced inflation they reported in the documentary. I am 9 months in, still not back to 100% health but I have to say that I have been feeling sooooooooo much better since going plant based. I have found that sauerkraut and Kimchi have also helped, they have to be the unpasteurized versions though. Nearly all the supermarket bought sauerkraut and kimchi are pasteurized so you need to go to a specialist or make your own which is actually pretty easy. Brilliant video, hopefully see more relating to this subject.
Good job! Keep up the good work.
I have a similar story, drs where useless, found pbwg after game changers came out & although it has its faults that film changed my life, vegan since that day & Ibd a thing of the past…
I can't help but laugh at this level of ignorance.
I have almost the same experience as yours. 👍⚘️
Dead @3:45
I had something similar. I figured out it was eggs that were causing me debilitating IBS. Got rid of those and things got way, way better! I still didn't go vegan though. Fast forward 20 years to about 2 months ago and I was having migraines at least once a week, plus high BP and cholesterol. I finally made the switch to WFPB and in only 2 months my migraine occurrences are cut in half and my cholesterol is down 27% ! Me and my doctor are very happy (thankfully I have a very supportive doc).
Great vid thanks.
Dr Alan Desmond’s book blew my mind as crohns sufferer. He’s a visionary in the whole gastro field in my opinion. WFPB ever since and feeling good. Not a peep from my IBD.
