It’s so good to see that there’s at least someone who recognises that GAINING WEIGHT is actually quite difficult! I have a couple of questions and doubts though:
1. Isn’t it unhealthy to eat snacks between the main meals?
2. Shouldn’t one eat MAXIMUM three times a day?
3. Isn’t it ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY to have a fasting window between dinner and breakfast the next morning of at least 14 or even 16 hours? That’s what VIRTUALLY ALL vegan doctors and health coaches recommend!
4. Isn’t it UNHEALTHY to mix different types of food in one single meal? For instance, oats with fruits, nuts, seeds and leafy greens? Or tofu with nuts, seeds, vegetables and fruits? Or even just a bowl of oatmeal with fruits and seeds or nut butter?
5. To be honest, I’m so confused after having watched hundreds of videos on this topic (i.e. “healthy” vegan nutrition) during the last five or seven years, that I no longer know what to eat at all! And I really need to GAIN weight. I don’t even dare how much… … … In any case, quite, quite a lot… … …

I am in hospital with myasthenia gravis – a autoimmune disease that attacks the neurotransmitter to operate my muscles. One thing is chewing and I have to eat more calories. I am making a tahini lemon juice and garlic dressing (classic Turkish dressing with beans) and a oat, protein powder and peanut butter smoothie.

Speaking for someone who needs to gain weight herself …. it’s so easy to hide and worry that you will be judged for needing to gain weight . And secondly, I'm a person who loves slathering olive oil on warm bread, but now have cut it out. Aside from avocado as shown in the video, how do you replace butter and oil on toast please? Any suggestions will be much appreciated as I really don't want to get into a food rut. Thank you.

Such a great video! Thank you so much for the tips! I was wondering, with adding more nuts and seeds, is it still healthy? I was told to keep fats very low even if I want to gain weight, but that would require me to eat such a big quantities, that I would have to munch on food all day long, lol. I have to relearn my look at soy, I heard for so many years, that it is unhealthy for women due to phytoestrogen, also avoiding flax seeds, etc. as they can cause estrogen dominance cancers, so I was avoiding it for years. But more and more lately I hear that organic soy is actually healthy and I even read studies and clinical trials from nutritionfacts.org that people who live the longest (Blue Zones) eat lots of soy, sweet potatoes, etc. It will take me some time, but I want to slowly start adding soy back to my diet. I really appreciate your tips and expertise in the nutrition field and I am so happy to start gaining weight naturally and the healthy way. Thank you so much again! 🙂
