Plant-Based, just wanted to let you know I'm down 25.5 pounds in a month and a half of following your suggestions. please keep going your such an inspiration
plant based beast here. lost 25 pounds and 36 points of my cholesterol. all my pals who havent seen me since before the pandemic are like whoa, how did you do it? the most surprising thing is how incredibly easy, affordable, satiating, delicious and all-around lovely it is to eat this way. not to mention the benefits to the animals and the planet. win, win, win.
I tried vegan over a decade ago and ended up very ill. However, that was before I learned of all my allergies — it's an extremely long list! Is it possible for me to get adequate nutrition if I'm unable to eat any nuts, grains, corn, legumes, bananas, avocados, melons, etc.? I do fine with squashes, sweet potatoes, and greens but I don't know how that can be nutritionally sufficient. I have autoimmune issues, histamine intolerance, and methylation issues. Should I attempt vegan again?
WFPB baby!!! Feel soooo much better! Little over a year, and it has been so much fun, and truthfully I feel like I have learned so many ways to prepare Whole Foods that taste amazing. I did keto and every other diet and they ALL SUCKED!! Joint pain gone. I can run without knee braces, I feel I have more energy. Sleep can still be a challenge, but all and all I am so thankful to be living this way. Thank you for your great videos!
ER nurse hereā¦.Can I say what else is avoided when doing whole plant foods as opposed to keto? Significant reduction in risk of HEART ATTACK, aka myocardial infarction. High blood pressure and heart disease are the silent killers. And you wonāt know you have an occlusion until ya do. Then you have chest pain, might go in to cardiac arrest (heart stops) and 911 is called , EMS comes and gets ya, shoves a tube down your throat so they can hook up a machine to breathe for you(manual bagging first)chest compressions begin as that is happening, breaking your sternum and multiple ribs, you are rushed to nearest hospital, your lifeless (close to naked at this point) body is pumped full of drugs in your veins in an attempt to restart your heart, then maybe we will get return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC). If you maybe wake up in a few days after this intense traumatic experience, you might have less brain function due to the arrest of the heart/period of no blood flow. This may result in serious life changes and dependence on others, pooping in diapers, bed bound, canāt walk, canāt talk, canāt swallow, what a life! OR you can eat whole plant foods and avoid all of the above š
I tried ketoā¦was totally brain washed dudeā¦ and ya know what it did? Short term water loss and long term set up for ācheat daysā cuz youāre so starved from suppressing the desire from carbs!! Then you get fat , and you blame the carbs but really itās the maaajor calorie surplus from those binge out days. Then guilt, fasting, depression, restriction, and the cycle goes on. Had to learn first hand unfortunately š„ŗSo let me say! AVOID AVOID AVOID! Eat your oatmeal, taters and boiled/steamed veg! Feel satiation and well being. Donāt eat animals bruh

Plant Based!!! For the win!!! I never liked meat growing up. My mom used to grind it up in a meat grinder and salt the heck out of it so that I would eat it. While I've only been WFPB for 5 years, my entire adult life has been swinging between vegetarian, vegan and when I did eat meat it was usually just chicken. I've never had a McDonald's Big Mac or eaten lobster or shrimp. This way of eating is my jam and my only regret is that I didn't find it sooner, or raise my kids this way. They are all grown up and have to walk their own path. All I can do is be an example.
Plant-based!! While I watched your video, I ate my lunch of bean taquitos with a plant-based, Whole Foods cheese sauce and green beans. Iāve been WFPB for over a year. Lost 17 pounds. I couldnāt lose weight on keto. I love not being hungry and eating oatmeal and potatoes!
Plant based for sure š have been for the last going on 2 years. The last couple of months I added chicken back into my diet, and while it tasted good and I enjoyed it my regularity- you know what I mean- slowed down and a bit of weight came on. So I experienced first hand in a real way the not so great effects of chicken for me. I do eat canned tuna, sardines or salmon on a salad maybe once a week or every other week, some cottage cheese with the same frequency and occasional fat free cheddar cheese but that's basically it for animal products. And red meat in any form holds zero appeal for me. I really enjoy my food choices and do not feel deprived at all. I feel great, my energy levels are very good and my mental focus and memory are better than they were while consuming meat. Two thumbs up for plant based. I did keto for a short time and all it did was raise my cholesterol, cause constipation and I did not lose an ounce. Plants took care of all that and then some. <3
Just a reminder since I saw your cute cat messing with the flowers behind you – since you have a curious cat make sure to avoid the real lilies in flower arrangements!

Iāve been plant based for almost 5 years now and never felt better. I also donāt understand why someone would say, that they love animals and then go ahead and eat them. the keto people will argue that greens are recommended in the keto diet. but seriously. thatās a lot of salad to counteract all that meat. yuck.
Keto destroyed my gut/ reproductive health. I lost lots of weight but lost so much health in the process
